My party and I went to this McDonald’s location twice in our Europe trip. The quality of the food is at least on par with items on the American menu if not better. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese in a bagel on both occasions and found it to be very appetizing. Furthermore, the McDonald’s in The Netherlands is cheaper than those in the UK for example. Only 3 Euro per meal whereas in the US it might be 5 – 6 dollars a person resulting in saving about half the money. The main issue is with the service. The second instance was slower than the first time. For those travelling to Europe for the first time from the States, understand that Europe’s style of business is catered towards more of a «you want it, you buy it for the price it stands». Though there are exceptions, it’s not driven on customer service which is the bread and butter in America, regardless of the product/service/industry. So in this McDonalds, a customer standing in front of the cash register might not get his order placed in 10 – 15 mins even though there are plenty of employees to take the order and no drive thru to be «busy». Some of the employees were even fooling around with the manager. I understand it’s fast food so as much as McDonald’s tries to standardize their menu and mission, it needs to be better implemented.

Fast service! My burger had overflowing amounts of lettuce. The burger tasted fine and service staff understood English, which is always a plus.

Woman behind the counter over charged me for items I did not order, then got really rude because she was busted for trying to pocket the difference. Management needs to be aware that your staff are deliberately overcharging and for personal gain it seems. Very poor.

Possibly the healthiest McDonalds that I’ve ever visited, but it’s completely unintentional. The fryer was being repaired, so no fries and no McKroket and no Filet-O-Fish. How about that! While I sat and used a bit of the free wi-fi, a whole bunch of people kept walking up to the counter and couldn’t understand how McDonald’s could not possible have fries. It’s like their whole world was upside down! But the free wi-fi was working great!
