Wok to Walk seems to market itself as a trendy place to grab street food, but it comes off as more of a faux-hip tourist spot. Service was pretty fast but I didn’t think that the food was anything special — it was definitely not authentic. The prices were fair for the area, although probably closer to «$$» than«$».

At Wok to Wok, you are the master of your own creation! Select a base(different types of noodles or rice), add a protein such as beef or chicken, choose from a variety of extras such as vegetables, cashews, peanuts, and sesame seeds, then select a sauce — teriyaki, coconut curry, etc. Your creation will cost you between 5 – 10 euros depending on your extras. They will prepare your meal in front of you and serve it to you, steaming hot, in a Chinese to go box. This place is perfect for your late night cravings! Fast and affordable!

Für nen Imbiss zwischendurch absolut geeignet. Mit Topping und Getränk ist man jedoch schnell bei über 10,-€. Frisch zubereitet, gute Auswahl an Nudeln/Reis und weiteren Zutaten/Soßen.

Never heard of Wok to Walk, but after a week of vacationing and eating regional cuisine, we really wanted Asian food. Thanks to Unilocal,we found this place. It’s like a Chipotle of Asian food. Choose between noodles or rice, pick a protein, pick the veggies, pick a sauce. Now where it differs from Chipotle is that the type of protein of the selection of veggies you select are all different prices, not a flat rate. I would prefer Panda Express in the States if I was forced to eat Asian fast food, but for vacationing in Europe, Wok to Walk was a-ok!

Wok to Walk offers decent food but isn’t quite the food experience I was hoping for. The staff made sure to get me in and out in a rush and the restaurant wasn’t too busy when I visited. I would much rather go across the street for more authentic and delicious Asian food.

My sister and I ate here twice. Once was during a late night craving, once as a munchie run. The food is fresh and they allow you to choose how spicy you want it. They even put it in a to-go Chinese box container so you can eat it as you walk around. Service is great, too. Basically, we loved it.

This is probably the best Chinese I ever had in my life. Definitely way way better than anything we find in the USA. The wok flavor is embedded in every grain of the food. I could easily eat two bowls of food here. Food is very fresh made in front of you. Seating is communal but felt very nice even when it was crowded. We entered this place after a long walk around the museum district and it is definitely worth every penny and every second of the wait time. I went back couple of times more just for their fried rice. My friends tried almost everything and everyone is so happy eating here. Trust me, this is a must visit eatery if you ever visit Amsterdam

Really yummy and quick place to get food. Was so looking forward to eating it when I got back to my room, and I was not disappointed. Had egg noodles with mushrooms the first time, when I next go(which will be tonight) I think Im going to try a rice base. All in all, everyone should try it if you’re looking for something quick and decently priced.

I am a fan of Wok to Walk. In the U.S. «fast food» never really means anything good. Some places even say they are«Quick Service» just so they don’t fall under that umbrella. Wok to Walk in Fast Food, Quick Service, or what ever you want to call it. But it is good! I get egg noodles, beef, broccoli, with coriander(cilantro), and the Tokyo sauce. Delicious! It stays hot too. I usually eat about half in the restaurant and take the rest home. Over an hour later and it’s still warm. This particular restaurant was on a side street which was surprising to me. It’s teeny-tiny, but does the job. Just note that you might want to check if people are in line or waiting for their food. We had good service and the ladies working seemed to be pretty happy!

I’ve been to a couple of these spots in Spain. Its so delicious. There are Asian people in Amsterdam… …you just can’t see em cause they are half the height of the Dutch chicks.

Expensive and MEH! How could they like this place? Flavors were off and did not taste good but it was so popular with the tourists! Honestly, how can you go wrong with the ingredients? The sauce needs work!

I was craving Asian food while in Europe, so we decided to check out Wok to Walk. I had actually seen a Wok to Walk while in Madrid, so I guess it’s a chain all over Europe! It’s like a fast food Mongolian grill. You first choose a base, then an ingredient, and last a sauce(if no additional toppings). I ended up getting the egg noodles with chicken with the garlic and black pepper sauce and sesame on top. It takes awhile between waiting in line to order and getting your food, so be ready for that. Also, the store is quite small with only a few tables. Some others had mentioned that there is a square nearby that you can eat at if you want to take it to go. The portions are quite large and the food was delish. It definitely hit the spot after 2 weeks of tapas.

Fell in love with this place and wish we had something like it in Chicago. They make it super simple and easy for you to create a dish that is specifically to your liking. Flavors are great and I think the ingredients are of a high quality as well. I was also definitely pleased with the portion compared to the price. Only downside is that it is small and you may have trouble finding seating but it’s definitely worth trying out and getting to go if there’s no where to sit. Think of it as the a stir fry Chipotle!

nice place to get some fresh made really tasty food. the serving size is pretty good and for aprox. 9Euro you can get a quick and tasty meal. There are even to big extra plus points: 1. you can choose exactly what you want by order the ingriedients seperatly, the different kind of noodles or rice, extra meat, shrimp or vegetables and your favourite choice of sauce. 2: You can check the exact nutrition facts on the web-page… for those kind of food-nerds like me. :)

Really good asian fast food. The style and concept of this venue is the same as the burger bar/the butcher etc. But it works. You have a small menu were you can choose the combination of your meal. Noodles or rice as base, beef, chicken, vegetarian, no matter what you want. And then the sauce. Please try the curry coconut sauce. It is so delicous. Not to hot, not to bland. This is one of my new favorite fast food things in this town if I need a quick meal in the evening after work, and that not only because it is directly on my way to work.

There is absolutely no way I’d come to Amsterdam without coming to this place. Excellent for lunch, quick dinner or quick snack after a night of drinking or um… whatever you may be into. The speed and taste more than makes up for the long lines, especially at night. I really wish this would franchise to the US…

I love this place! They offer noodles made simple, but made your way. Here’s how it works: — Choose your noodle type — Pick a sauce — Choose a type of meat and/or veggies(optional) The portions are enough for two and it’s only 6 euros. You can’t beat it! And even though everything is made fresh to order, the lines move very quickly. This particular location does not have seating(to go only), but they are close to Rembrandtplein(aka Rembrandt Square) which has a ton of outdoor tables and chairs. My favorite combination is garlic noodles with chicken and mushrooms. It’s the absolute best on a cold, rainy day. I only wish they had something similar in the States — the Mongolian Beef places at the mall just don’t compare.
