Amazing night with some amazing people ! I’m definitely going to go again during my time here in Amsterdam !
I was a bit nervous to go at first since I was essentially just moved here and was going alone, but I just bit the bullet and thought «hey, what could go wrong?» Immediately after I got there everything was great, Sander was an excellent host and he really tries to make everyone feel comfortable, plus he introduced me to some great bars and people in Amsterdam. The free beer and wine hour makes it all worth it, plus you get free shots in every bar after and free admission to this awesome club at the end of the night, so it’s definitely an awesome value if you have a Saturday night in Amsterdam.
My group was a mix of Dutch locals and travelers from all over the world, and it was great
meeting people. We may have all started out as strangers in the beginnings, but I left meeting some new friends.

I had such a great time with these guys that I went back multiple weekends!
Had been searching online for gay bars and events in Amsterdam and stumbled across this pub crawl. I had just moved to Amsterdam alone and didn’t know anyone so was a little bit concerned about taking the leap. Within about 3 seconds, any fears were put to rest.
The organizer, Sander, is incredibly kind, knowledgable (and really cute, but that’s neither here nor there). The crew was a great assortment of about 12 – 15 Dutch natives and people from all over who lived in Amsterdam or were visiting. The night was awesome. The beers were flowing liberally and we were all dancing in no time.
We went to about 5 bars/​clubs. The evening pays for itself since you get free beer the first hour. Can’t recommend enough; if you have one Saturday night in Amsterdam this needs to be on your agenda for sure.
