This is one of my favorite spots for a drink and music. Great dj’s and DON’T let the«gay» title fool you. It is a mixed crowd and mainly straight. It just happens to be tucked away in midst of a «gay» strip. It’s a fantastic place for some sexy R&B– hip hop on a Friday night!

Ludwig II is a really cool bar in the very popular Reguliersdwarsstraat. This cool place is great for having drinks and dancing. I love how there is very comfortable seating inside but also a dance floor where people actually go dancing. Often I cant find a great combination of those two. The music here is good and great for dancing. There are two bars so you never have to wait long for your drinks. The staff is friendly. I also like the whole look of this place; dark walls and wall art with skulls and tattoo style paintings, velvet little chairs and tables for relaxing and chatting next to the main bar and the dance floor + a smaller bar in the back. Fun, friendly place and great for a night out.

Went here for a Girls Like Us event but the crowd was mixed, the music great, the bartender service fast(even when paying with credit). The only hassle was the bathroom — there’s only one stall for women’s and it kept on breaking. There’s a front bar area with great art/photos on the wall, a back room for dancing and a smoking area. Even though the music was blasting, if you moved to the front room you could still have a great conversation without screaming at your partner.

Great spot. I met up with friends here that were doing events for ADE. Very diverse crowd, bartenders were quick and good music. It was a bit packed on the dance floor but you could go to the front of the bar to converse. Plenty of great art by Parra around and overall cool spot.
