Even though I am a tourist, I like getting away from the rest of the tourists! That’s a tall order anywhere near the Museum Quarter. Happily, I found Four Leaves. It is an absolute oasis in the throngs of selfies and pushy pedestrians. The proprietor is a charming knowledgable man who knows his tea. He ushered us upstairs to his lovely tea loft for a pot of tea, and we were all refreshed. The music is jazz-cool, the furnishings are hip, and the tea is brewed at the correct temperature. Heaven. Step out of the madness, and regroup in the civilized oasis that is Four Leaves.

Four Leaves is lovely tea shop and tea room in the museum quarter. The shop sells many kinds of tea. You can read descriptions of all the flavors on the menu and the staff will be more than happy to answer questions or let you smell the teas. Most of the teas cost 7,90 for 100 gr. This is a good amount so it is a decent price. I bought the ‘Je né sais quoi’ tea, a sweet vanilla, pastry like tea. It smelled delicious. I also tried a bit of the ‘Je T’aime’, a tea that tastes quite like pistachio macaroon. Also delicious! I will buy that one next time :) Above the shop is also a tea room which is quite lovely for drinking tea with a piece of carrot cake or apple pie. The shop is very nice with a large selection of teas but also tea pots and cups.
