Smack in the city centre and at the tram stop, you’d find this little coffee shop. I had my first red velvet cake here and it was the best I’ve had so far. Both in the Netherlands and in North America. I haven’t tried anything else as that was my go-​to. My friend bought the chocolate chip cookie once and she didn’t like it. My opinion is bias because I hate walnuts and it contained walnuts. I know… weird. Who puts walnuts in chocolate chip cookies???

In het city centrum en vlakbij het tram halte vind je De drie graefjes. Ik had mijn eerste Red velvet taart hier en het is nog steeds die beste red velvet taart die heb ik gehad. Portie is een beetje groter dan in andere cafes. Red velvet is mijn go-​to in deze plaats en hebben dat gezegd had ik die andere taarten niet geprobeert. Mijn friend had die chocolate chip cookie gehad die ene keer en vind ze het niet leuk. Er zitten walnoten in. Waarom zjin er walnoten in chocolate chip cookies?

Love this place!
This is one of my favorite lunch spots, but popping in for coffee is also great too. They have amazing salads. I’m also a fan of their quiche and soup.
Not huge portions, but definitely satisfying in my book. Plus, it leaves room for one of their divine sweets on offer.
In fact, I love lunching here when I’m in the mood for dessert and if not, I always take one home. The takeaway cupcakes also make great gifts or special treats for pals with a sweet tooth. Also be sure to check out their bakery next door.

Des énoooormes gâteaux ! Parfaits pour le petit-​dej ou le goûter.
Carrot cake, tarte aux noix de pécan, velvet cake, cheesecake, quelques muffins et cookies, il y a de quoi faire.
Les parts sont juste énormes.
J’ai bien aimé la déco des lieux. Situé sur Rokin, parfait pour commencer sa journée en plein centre ou faire une pause dans l’après-midi.
Je vous recommande.
