Five Bells

I went here today with my father, we got a nice place in the sun and ordered a beer, a chocolate milk and 2 club sandwiches. After we had to repeat our order several times because apperantly the waitress had a hearing impairment, she asked us several times what we wanted to drink and wanted to eat and we had to answer several tiimes. Eventually the chocolate milk and beer came, the chocolate milk still had cacao, atleast I hope it was cacao, at the bottom. Fine that wasn’t the worst. Then came 1 of our «club sandwiches», please do notice the bracket as no proper establishment can call that a club sandwich. Also do note that it was only 1, the waitress simply didn’t register the second one and didn’t find it odd that 2 people would only order 1 sandwich. Anyways I went on to dissect the club sandwich, the bread was stale, the egg was blue, the tomatoes had almost no taste and the bacon tasted like leather. After a couple of times of her saying sorry she went to get the second «club sandwich» which was pretty much the same. The first sandwich me and my father shared, the second I ate alone because his appetite was ruined after eating the first one.
Another fancy story was the one were my father had to go to the toilet, which was so disgusting that he pretty much wet his pants when he entered the premise and didn’t need to go anymore.
Also please note, I specifically registered an account because I was so dissatisfied with the service and the food at this particular place. I tried to put my dissatisfaction into words but I still find my review rather lackluster. My advice for anybody is to just stay away from this place.

Absolutely horrific. Stay away, stay away, stay away. We spent 1.5 hours waiting for our food. In that time, we noticed that NONE of the other tables were doing anything more than picking at their food. The couple at the table next to us started to openly lament the state of their food and that’s when we called our server over (after what was at that point an approximately 1 hour wait) to ask to cancel our order. Long story short, the manager («manager») of the store said we couldn’t cancel our order because it was already «in the system» (wtf does that mean?) and our food would be out shortly. About a half hour later, most of our food came out (three entrees when there were four to our party). It was all terribly cooked and flavorless. The fourth entrée finally came out and it was chicken shwarma («chicken shwarma») which is really their code for little pieces of cartilage-​y chicken breast chopped up with various vegetables. This place is also NOT cheap. Please don’t eat here. Terrible food, terrible service, high prices.

Waited an hour and half for the worst food of my life. We told them to not bother cooking the food after an hour of waiting, but they told us it was coming right out. Half an hour later it came. We did not eat it, and left in disgust. No discount, no apologies, no good. Avoid this place at all costs. Terrible.

Awful! Avoid this place!
The server dumped two drinks on me and all they did to make up for it was give us «free water.» WHAT A JOKE.
The food is barely edible.
Spend your time and money somewhere else

Absolutely terrible. Waitress spilled 2 beers all over the table, and though she apologized, never came back to serve the table. We sat for 20 minutes without anything to drink, and when I asked for water, we were charged. When we spoke to the manager, only the waters I had to go to the bar and ask for were taken off. The manager acted like this was very generous and said the place was «busy» and the waitress had no time to come over, while I sat and watched her do nothing for the 20 minutes we sat without drinks.
Terrible service, and I never even mentioned how absolutely disgusting the food was. Avoid at all costs.

Paramos aquí por que fue el primer sitio que vimos, que el sitio parecía limpio. La relación calidad precio es pésima, es muy caro y la comida es de calidad normal-​baja. Está situado en el centro de Amsterdam. Pedimos pizza margarita (muy mala), y macarrones bolognesa que estaban aceptables. Así que recomiendo buscar otro restaurante ya que por la zona hay muchísimos más.

Though I won’t be going back, I must point out that the staff were very friendly and efficient, which is rare in Amsterdam. 3EUR for a beer though? Don’t think so.
A friend had the ribs and said it was good.
