Escape is an average nightclub. It gets an extra star because it books good DJs on a regular basis. The sound system is quite good, but bring earplugs because it is cranked pretty loud sometimes.
There are several bars so you don’t have to wait too long for a drink. The drink prices are as high as you would expect.

Most rude people who work here. Not worth it when it’s not a great club. Not packed. Not cool people. Music isn’t great. Don’t go here.

We only had drinks and food here on the patio. Service started slowly, nothing outstanding nor disappointing. I would go back here for a drink.

Escape c’est une boîte de nuit GIGANTESQUE où l’on trouve de tout.
J’étais présente à leur régulière du samedi soir, les soirées BRAINWASH.
Déjà le nom de la soirée indique la couleur.
J’ai donc pu assister à un jeu de son et lumière impressionnant sur un écran LED GEANT (vraiment GEANT), qui donnaient l’impression de faire un voyage spacio-​temporel sur la piste de danse (si si je vous jure).
Au cours de la soirée, j’ai pu assister à des solos d’une ténor qui avait vraiment du coffre, quelques mix d’un saxophoniste et des danses effectuées par de très charmantes danseuses. La variété du spectacle et de la combinaison LIVE+ DJ Set était vraiment intéressante.
Dans tous les cas, l’endroit possède un équipement son tout simplement incroyable, digne d’un stade de france, né serait ce même mieux. Quelque soit la pièce dans laquelle vous vous situez, le son viendra vibrer dans vos oreilles.

I love the location as it’s right in the middle of Rembrandt Square, but the rest seemed like a wannabe high class club. First the cover was 15 Euros, but I wanted to experience an Amsterdam club before I left. Next the drinks were pretty ridiculously expensive. The place was 75% men and that is not an exaggeration. Even after the 15 Euro cover you have to pay 50 cents to use the restroom! Isn’t the 15 Euro cover enough? Worst of all, the music was just mediocre. I definitely chose the wrong club to check out in Amsterdam.

Cool locations, awesome line-​ups, innovative lighting, entertainments, drinks & fun and i am photographing here 2 – 3 nights a week! If you’d like to come i can put you on the guestlist but only on days when i work :) ok bye

We went here on saturday afternoon in order to have unhurriedly a coffee. It is not special, but you can have a good time when the weather is nice. I don’t know if it is normal, but the waitress was a little bit unfriendly. And when I ask for the free wifi, which they are promoting, she assured to ask for the password, but never brought it.

Nice venue, awesome music with two different DJS, and good people!
Must go if you’re in Amsterdam!

Great atmosphere, good music, good drinks and a cute DJ who offered to show us tourists the city… These ladies were happy!

Located right in the middle of Rembrandt Square, Escape’s name is fitting to its serene atmosphere. It has mostly outdoor tables, all of which face the Square so you can watch the bicycles and passersby as you sip your Amstel under the shade.
The food (mostly sandwiches, fish and chips, burgers and salads) is moderately priced at 8 –12 euros per item. Service was great, too. For restaurant patrons, there is a free bathroom upstairs. Free bathrooms are a rarity in Europe. And at night, Escape turns into a club with live music (it varies depending on the night).
I would recommend Escape to vacationers because of their affordable prices and fabulous location.

Une boîte immense, une ambiance de folie, ici on trouve plus de 2000personnes et beaucoup de Djs font leur set, c’est super bien et c’est caliente !!! Julien

Cette boîte est immense. C’est impressionnant. L’ambiance est génial et il ya souvent de très bons dj.

Discothèque intéressante, où les gens né vont pas que pour dancer, bien que la musique le jeudi 20.03.2003 était super sympa, j’ai été surpris de voir s’entasser les gens au millieu de la piste de dance avec un verre à la main et en position statique, ça doit être la mode au Pays Bas, en faite le meilleur coin pour dancer c’est le bar.
