I quit cheese a couple of years ago as a matter of principle, but nevertheless I keep coming back to Eriks for other delicacies. He sources some of the finest local hams, meats, wines and other things which are fundamentals for all foodies out there. Its not cheap, but its worth every penny. I buy my eggs here(always check if they’re not broken) and of course croissants. Erik’s frozen croissants are the best kept secret in town. Buy them at the shop(keep them cool untill you get home) and then throw them into the oven at 182C for exactly 18 minutes and you will never feel the urge to buy anywhere else again! Oh yeah, the cheese is fantastic as well. He had one of the finest collection of Dutch cheeses in town. Whenever I go abroad, I them vacuumed so they can fly along for gifts. Not surprisingly, people love it.
