The Seven Deadly Sins were inscribed on the front door.
Greed. Lust. Gluttony. Envy. Wrath. Pride. Sloth.
It was ominous that I was going to commit a cardinal sin that night. But what would it be?
Could it be lust?
No, definitely not. Those tall, blonde, slim and gorgeous Dutch girls aren’t my type.
So what sin would that be?
The cardinal sin that I was ready to commit that night was probably gluttony. But I wonder who would be committing the sin of envy.
It wouldn’t be you, would it?
You wouldn’t be envious that I’m dining in a Michelin rated restaurant halfway around the World in Amsterdam — in a restaurant called Envy — would you?
No, I trust that you wouldn’t.
So let’s take a look at my sins that night:
Prosciutto di Parma: The menu claimed that they have been aged 16 months and I believe them. It was very flavorful but not overly salty. Just like fine wine, they were gentle to the palate.

Très bonne qualité de nourriture, service correct, rapport qualité prix quand même moyen car le menu 4 services est a 35 Euros et le premier service est un plat de charcuteries…
On se reprend quand même bien par la suite avec le tartare (manqué un peu d’assaisonnement), le saumon qui est excellent et la crevette qui est aussi très bonne. Le maquereau est succulent avec ses petites sauce d’accompagnement. Le dessert est rafraîchissant et digne d’un plat de l’émission Les Chefs… Mais ce fut un dîner un peu cher…

Amazing Food, nice atmosphere and very good service.
We have been here with a group of ten people and everyone was amazed by the food we had.
Before the starter you get a variation of different Salami, Bresaola and another ham with bread and olive oil. It would be almost worth it to go there for this only.
Starter to dessert was just absolutely brilliant and for the quality it is a really reasonable price.
I just can highly recommend everyone to try this place!
