This was a random find on my way to the center of Amsterdam and it was a great surprise. I had a cheese, ham and mushroom omelet and it was fantastic! I enjoyed the breakfast so much that I went back again the next day.
Stephanie was a very friendly, gracious and beautiful staff member. Even to an American tourist.
I would recommend this location for breakfast.

The food was okay but a bit pricey. I got a goat cheese, honey, and pine nut Sandwich. I looked for them but there were no pine nuts to be found and by the time the girl came back I had pretty much finished eating. I liked the Sandwich but it pretty much just amounted to cheese and bread for almost seven euros. I enjoyed my coffee and my sister really liked her smoked chicken and guacamole Sandwich. Also my coffee came with a free cookie so that was a plus.

Very convenient local restaurant. Always had good dinner here with couple of good beers beeing served by cheerful bartenders. Place is relatively small. Reservation recommended!

The two times I ate there were meh. The first time, I had a sandwich, the carpaccio… it was decent. The second time, I had the half chicken at dinner. Hands down the saltiest chicken I’ve ever tasted. I did like their fries though.
I would come back here to meet up and have a quick drink or coffee. The food is pretty lackluster to give it another chance.

Well this review is WAY overdue. For some reason I thought I had already written it. Anyway…
This place is right around the corner from my parent’s apartment in Amsterdam. We had dinner here on the last night that we were in town. The only disappointment that I experienced was that we hadn’t come here sooner. Every meal on the table was absolutely delicious.
I had a steak and fries as I was yearning for something familiar. The steak may have quite possibly been the most delicious steak I had ever had in my life. It was served in a buttery gravy (see pic) that made every bit juicy and delicious. The fries were hot, crispy and practically exploded with flavor on my taste buds.
Next time we are in Amsterdam we will certainly stop here for a meal or two or three. If you are in the area I STRONGLY recommend it.
