Who knew I had to leave the US and fly to Amsterdam to have some of the best ribs on earth?! This place is awesome – small and full of charm, service was nice and food was amazing – did I mention how good the ribs were?! It was just slightly too chilly to sit outside when I was there in early September, but they also have a nice outdoor area that if the sun were out, I would love to sit. Will for sure be coming back in the future. Lekker!

As the first review in English, let me start by saying the place was very Dutch; tidy, smart, friendly and unpretentious.
It is a regular spot for my local friends and for a good reason: delicious, imaginative and healthy food.
We ordered a Dutch Club Sandwich unlike any you will ever see in the United States.
I can’t begin to guess why the reviewers only gave it three stars each so will just speculate it is typical Dutch modesty.
(Okay, sorry about not filing this for 8 months. I forgot.)
Very nice place if you know what to expect. It’s small, family-​owned, crowded by locals and known for it’s spare ribs. So, order their marinated spare ribs (don’t fall for variations like «mexican»), get some beer and enjoy your evening. Keep in mind that spare ribs means a lot of food, and you won’t be able to eat anything else. Which is good, because everything else is quite mediocre. I wonder why they bother to have a menu, I’m sure their ratings would be much better if they only offered their ribs and beer!
