Nice Dutch food. Great for snacks and drinks not so much for meal but does have a few mains. A lot of tables outside.

A reasonably good place to grab a drink, the prices are a little more than your local bar but the service is good. Their house merlot is quite good but a majority of their redwine is sold by the bottle. They have bar snacks available along with a larger meal menu that includes some good looking hamburgers. If you need to catch the tram #12 stops outside.

Oh L-​ORD what did I do to deserve this lovely veggie burger? Yall vegetarians out there know that the quality of a veggie burger ranges from heaven to hell, and every time it is a gamble do you not already trust the place. This time, I was positively surprised. Crispy bread and an extremely tasty veggie paddy with vegetables, beans and peas. Mayo and ketchup. It came straight from the oven and just ooooozed with vegetarian yummyness. Seriously, sandwiches and burgers are what’s up here. I took it to go so know nothing about service, but I have noticed that the bartenders are like ridiculously attractive every day.

Can’t speak about the food as we came here for drinks after a meal. Service was friendly and quick, though that may have been do to the fact that there wasn’t a ton of people there. Drink prices seemed fair and it was a nice place to have a chat as the music wasn’t load, in fact there were a lot of people there reading and relaxing. Loved the art deco details.

I love the art-​deco ambiance, and it’s a very cozy café on weekday evenings. With a friend I come here to study or enjoy their coffee and apple pie from Holtkamp.
Service is friendly, if not a little slow.
What is a refreshing change is that it attracts people aged 18 to 80.
Wouldn’t come here for weekend drinks though — just not the place to be.

Located down the road from the Van Gogh museum. Enjoyed a lovely meal on their patio. Their marinated olives were very good. Had a special, toasted pita with parma, goat cheese, tomato and pesto, it was delicious. Service was great, would defintely go back.

another neighborhood café. the regular coffee is very good. i had a burger here and it was eh– ok. from reading the dinner menu i don’t know if i would come here for dinner again. my friend had the pesto pasta and it didn’t look special.
but for breakfast i’ve enjoyed the yogurt with granola, bananas and honey. lekker! i’ve also had their cheddar cheese, onion and asparagus omelet. first it was processed cheese not cheddar. but outside of that, it was a good omelet. not the fluffy kind but still good. the bread that came with it was really fresh and nice.
i do give them a HUGE kudos for being a very dog friendly establishment :)))
