I went to the restaurant based on the other reviews on Unilocal… And it didn’t fail to live up to them. A small, little hard to find, location but styled so warmly. Sat at the bar, as there were no tables the service was more than friendly and the food was well portioned and full of flavours. Will definitely be looking to go here again next time I’m in Amsterdam. Best advice when planning to eat here is to try and book a table but also make sure you’ve got time and don’t rush your meal, enjoy the ambiance.

Gezellig and delicious. I love the way it’s tucked back into the neighborhood on the corner a non-commercial street. We came back for dinner a second night in a row because it was so perfect the first night. Casual atmosphere. A moderate menu for a small kitchen, but they put together some satisfying food. We’ve enjoyed everything we tried: hot camembert, asparagus, snails, hamburger, meatballs. We were quite dubious about Tiramisu with oreo cookie crust, but it was impressive — better than what we had in Italy.

We stumbled upon this place in our reviews of it on Trip Advisor and decided to walk out and give it a try. It is farther away from the touristy areas of the city but was a short walk nonetheless, and we were so happy we strayed from the center of the city. The food was fantastic, the drinks were handcrafted, and the staff was so happy to have them eat with us. The chef had prepared two specials that night, a pasta and a steak, and we tried both. The dishes were plentiful, flavorful, and hit such a sweet spot. If you’re in Amsterdam, venture off the«tourist traps» and done with the locals. This place will absolutely not disappoint.
