Ordered here many times. Every dish we’ve tried has been great, big portions of flavorful food. Their delivery times can be over an hour though.

Resisted eating Indian food for over a year after moving to Amsterdam, but the great food and service at this place won us over from the first day! You might have to drain the oil off your curry if you want to live to see your grandkids, but you’ll be licking your fingers Indian-​style after your meal. Word to the faint of stomach: the spices and oil really hit you an hour or so after the meal, so keep your portions small: it tastes good after a day or two in the fridge as well!

I have ordered food for delivery more than 5 times from this place and it has always been good.
I like the matar paneer as it has a very nice homemade taste. The butter chicken can be a little sweet for some but I like it. Saag paneer is average. Each dish comes with either rice or naan. The naans are always nice and soft but the rice can be dissapointing sometimes. Another thing I wish is that the dishes were a little lease greasy and oily. Can get a little too heavy sometimes.
But this is my goto place for homemade matar paneer.

Delivery food in Amsterdam is a very big hit or miss. Depending on so many factors, the same restaurant could deliver either very good or very bad quality food.
Not so with Indian Express. After trying a dozen or so Indian delivery restaurants, this has become my favorite delivery service. The quality is always consistent and very good. I am a big fan of their okra and spinach dishes. The best part is that the food is always delivered hot!
The staff is very friendly and always willing to accommodate your individual requests in terms of flavor or spiciness. In fact, I prefer delivery food from Indian Express over quite a few expensive sit down restaurants in the city. The dishes definitely don’t taste like they came out of the same curry base.
If you are up for something different and delicious, do give Indian Express a try, and definitely let them know how lucky you are to have great Indian delivery food in Amsterdam!

Indian delivery. We get the tikka masala and bindhi (okra). We’ve had a few times and can be really excellent with lots of flavor, and spicy. Although had it last night and there was no spice and devoid of flavor. Price is about 25 euro with rice, naan and delivery fee.
Friendly people. Say please and thank you incessantly!
