Chupitos

Wow this place is brilliant fun, it helps to have a few drinks in your system before you arrive and try and get here before it gets too busy as you have to check your bags and coats in their cloak room. Ensure you also have some small change as you have to pay for cloak room and the toilet is € 0.50 each time you visit. The shot prices are quite reasonable starting at € 2.50 to € 4.50. If you have some friends in town or want a fun night out I can certainly recommend this place just be aware it gets really busy around 11pm until 2am but you will have fun for sure.

Chupitos doesn’t try to be anything it’s not. It’s not a chilled out chat bar, it’s a shot bar. They have a vast array of shots to choose from at pretty decent prices. The music is always pumping and the tiny dance floor full of baltering locals and tourists. If you need an injection of energy into your night, go here

Good bar to start the night off. Small, cozy, and with cheap shots. A small dance floor as well. Wouldn’t spend the whole night here, but would definitely make it a destination on a bar hop!

if you like shots for a very small price this really the place to come. There are like 50+ shots you can choose from, varying in price between 2,50 and 4,50. The amount might be overwhelming so if you don’t know which one to choose, ask the personal there and they will give you some recommendations. They sure make it worth while.

It is a chain. That said, let’s move to the real stuff. shots! Nothing else… LOOOOOTS of shots, any flavour, any size (mostly very small) and any colour or explosion. yes. they put your shots on fire… :)
It is fun to try at least once… if you go more then you are a real achoolic … and? :)
Gets VERY crowded and as the usual Amsterdam rule… if you are in more than 2 people you have to wait outside LONG time!
Kind of weird… not sure if it is legal… you can smoke inside… disgusting!!!

Who would have guessed such a tiny bar would sport such an enormous menu of shots? Well, it’s a chain remember. They live up to their reputation with shots ranging from 2.50 to 4.50, from fun to frightening and tasty to downright disgusting. Good place to start the night but go early because it get’s packed and then it’s no fun.

Chupitos is a small-​ish bar with a large menu of mixed shots. The majority are 2.50 euros, but there are some for 3.50 and and 4 or 5 for 4.50 euros. The bartenders are quick and put on a good show with the shots. I don’t know the name of the shot, but people kept ordering one that involved lots of orange fire and sparks. Very pretty. They have beers and non-​alcoholic drinks as well so you can space out the shots without getting too drunk.
I got here pretty early and the place was empty, but the the time I left it was packed and there was a queue at the door to get in, complete with bouncers. If you don’t mind waiting you can pregame someplace else but otherwise just get here around 11 and you should be able to get in without a problem.
As a side note, this place was filled with dudes at first. Ladies started filtering in as the night went on, but at first it felt like a meat market with all the men eyeing the few women who were there.
My only real problem was that the music sucked. It was not dancing music and I was really bummed because I ended up just sort of standing around and people watching without music to get me moving.
