I went for Oslo breakfast and it was definitely a good choice. Everything in that dish was super delicious(eggs poached perfectly, bread warmed just about right, tasty ham&cheese and the warm croissant is just what you need). My friend had a Caesar salad which was also super nice so definitely coming back to this place. The staff is nice, and we didn’t wait too long for the meals!

Great food and cozy atmosphere! Highly recommended! So refreshing after tourists spots in the city center!

Wonderfully cozy little place with a 60’s /70’s retro cool vibe. Service is warm and friendly. Food is delicious and even the bathroom sink is cute. Lol I have been here 6 times already and will be back for more! PS. Also very sexy /cozy for evening meals or cocktails and they have a great playlist of music. ;)

Although I haven’t been to Café Oslo for dinner, I can certainly say that it is an amazing place for brunch or a chilled out drink on the terrace during summer. The staff are friendly and helpful(and easy on the eye). And remember, the best seats are outside so go on a sunny day

Beautiful interior with a nice ambiance. The items on the menu all sounded very appealing and it took a while to decide. The food looked and tasted okay but not memorable. Overall a nice evening out. Although I would probably come back for drinks next time.

Nice atmosphere, nice food, decent coffee. But while I really tried to make it «my local café», I just couldn’t because it feels so pretentious! It looks like it should be cozy but it feels cold and way-too-cool. The clientele seem to be exclusively rich stay-at-home moms and awkward/boring couples. There are just much better places in the area. Too bad!

Ambience: Nice place for a breakfast or lunch. It is rather quiet during the week, so it makes for a good reading or working spot. It has a nice view of the Schinkel, and you can sit outside when it is sunny. As to the food: The croque madame and eggs Benedict I had there were very nice. Although the presentation of the eggs Benedict was unconventional(on a hard bread roll), the sauce was well done and eggs well poached. And we all know it is about the sauce and the poaching :) Overall: Nice, but not too special.

Somewhat adventurous, lots of interesting items on the menu. The coffee is totally fabulous. Good drinks selection. Very crowded. Narrow staircase to the restrooms– beware it’s tough for big feet or heels. From the outside, it appears as a normal café, but inside, a bit more plush and comfy if pretty crowded. There is a cat that lives there; be gentle. Can be a little schiz. Overall it’s upscale, and as others mentioned, not inexpensive. Goes until very late night. Reasonable service. Not a five star, but certainly fun.

Nice looking place, but it’s way too expensive. It has the name of the capital of Norway, Oslo, which is one of the most expensive cities in the world. There are so many better places to eat while in Amaterdam!
