Supermercado

Good food, easy-​going and friendly people, prices are more than fair. Price/​quality is very decent, nice spot to sit down for a drink or lunch/​diner.

Supermercado has been on my ‘to-​try-​list’ ever since they opened a few months ago and today I finally went. It wasn’t really planned but we cycled by and decided to go here for lunch since the other place we first went to was full.
Supermercado really surprised me. It was on my list in the first place because it isn’t to expensive and just because I like to try new places, but it didn’t disappoint. The whole menu is available during the whole day so that is nice. I order a ‘koffie verkeerd’ and it was nice. The menu had many options; salads, a burger, meat and fish dishes, all kinds of side dishes, tapas platters, sandwiches and more. All kinds of stuff en a lot of stuff you could order big or small, which is always handy.
I ordered a Huevos fritos with chorizo (Turkish bread with eggs sunny side up and chorizo and a side of Patatas bravas. Both were really tasty! Also prices were nice! The eggs were 5 euros and the patatas 3 euro (and we shared this and it was more than enough). After this we also shared a dessert; ‘Almond merenque with ice cream and jerez sultanas’. This was amazing! So good! Really loved this one.
Also the staff was very friendly and efficient the whole time. For two sandwiches, 2 hot drinks, a side dish and 1 dessert to share we had to pay 22,20 euros. Not much at all for a meal that was enjoyed very much! :)
