Good apple pie and hot chocolate. I had this combination-​drink called something like «kopstoot». They gave me a shot glass full of ‘jenever’ and I had to take the first sips without actually grabbing the glass. After having the shot I was supposed to drink beer as a chaser, but since I couldn’t finish the shot, needless to say I did not drink that whole beer.
The service was great, which to me was no surprise.
Oh, and great place to mellow for a while. Just grab a friend.

Sit outside next to the Prinsengracht and enjoy a few drinks and maybe some eats at this cozy little restaurant. It’s a great place to hang out with friends and relax after a long day. They serve beer, wine, cocktails and soft drinks. The burgers are pretty decent with a nice portion of fries to go along with that. The service isn’t especially fast but who’s in a hurry. They’re nice and friendly, too.

This is a very relaxed brown bar in Amsterdam where I met local Unilocalers recently. It is a very chill place, and while they serve burgers, they are mostly a drinks place.
This place hosted us when we wanted to play Werewolves, and so with respect to the bill, the bar just opened a tab for each of us, and at the end, we would just pay when we left. I thought that was cool of them to trust us instead of thinking that we would simply walk out.
This isn’t a place with a lot of space, and most of the seating actually happens outside. That being said, I like the relaxed atmosphere and I find it very inviting actually. I wouldn’t mind heading back here to get something to drink if I am in town again.
