Very good burgers, delicious food; but at fast-food price. Restaurant can be crowded during peak hours, i’ve had to share a table. I also like the changing menu. Can recommend!

Came here twice over the course of two days, it was nothing special but the burgers left me satisfied both times. More of a drunk spot.

I had the Spaanse Lamburger: Lamb, chorizo and jalapeños on a French bread. It wasn’t bad but the next time I’ll try a regular hamburger. I miss Fatburger.

I have few words to describe the burger I ate here a couple days ago. It was… romantic, erotic, cathartic, explosive. There is limited seating, but somehow these burgers disappear quicker than you’d like them to. Not because they are small, no, they are the perfect size. Because they are so alluring and seductive and hypnotic that you will have a time warp a la Jodie Foster in Contact. In any case, the lunch crowd moves at a regular pace so that there is usually a table about to open up. Go. Just go. For the good of the people, go here.

Amazing burgers artfully prepared and friendly staff. We are here right now At lunch and the food is delicious. Other Unilocalers have commented on the cost but I would say that it is justified by the quality of the food, the cleanliness of the place and the presentation. Also free wifi! What more to ask for? Another bonus — for roughly half the cost of a full burger(4Euros instead of 8) you can have a mini burger of any of the options. I went for the mini tuna with asparagus, cucumbers and teriyaki and a «manchego» which is goat cheese with mango chutney cashew nuts and veggies. Amazing! The others in my party had the full size cheeseburgers and lamb burgers(with chorizo). All this and only a 10 minute walk from the rijksmuseum! Yum!

Heart fast and easy burgers! Pop in, get a great burger, swallow it and be in your way:) Good selection for any taste! Don’t expect to spend an evening out there, it’s really just an amazing burgers on the go(at least how I perceived it), but it doesn’t mean any bad about the place!:) P’s. Try falafel burger if it’s still on the menu! It’s a veggie burger but it’s amazing!:)

Interesting place that revisited a little how a burger is made. The point is the use vegetables in their recipes which make the sandwiches super flavory, good looking and fresh. Problem is this massive use of veggies hides the meat taste. I liked the drinks choice and the bun used also full of cereals. If you are in city for short trip, do not hesitate to try the three mini burgers deal rather than the classic burger size. Super sad they do not offer FRIES! Instead, you can choose between baked potato or corn for example. Service was quite good. nice place but not memorable. Nothing to say about the price, it won’t ruin you.

I got the Classic Lamburger for my first visit to Burgermeester. I loved the sautéed onions on top and the lamb was cooked to perfection. You can also order a trio of small burgers in case you can’t decide which burger you would like. That’s what my hubby did. He loved the variety of flavors. We also ordered a side of potato salad. It was really tasty and had apples in it, which added a good texture and crunch.

Amazing burgers!!! Also their potato salad and pear juice is the bomb. Lovely restaurant with friendly staff and a nice setting. A must try for sure.

Tasty burgers and decent prices. Food was served quickly and lots of seating available in the diner style restaurant.

Bravo to the creativity of this place. Using really unorthodox ingredients to make burger art. There’s not a bad burger here. everything tastes amazing. My favorite trio was the Biefburger Royaal, Spaanse Lamburger, and this seared Ahi they don’t serve right now. If you’re a lover of burgers but have grown indifferent to the usual, this is the place for you. You will not find these burgers anywhere else.

Yummmmmmmm! I am so happy I didn’t just follow old patterns and binge crappy fries and mayonnaise at the closest döner grill this hungover saturday. Going to Burgermeester turned out to be a truly awesome decision. As a vegetariano I had the delicious goat cheese burger that literally melted in my mouth. Next time I will def try the lentils burger, which I have heard amazing things about as well. The potato salad is packed with pieces of green apple, to a pretty serious extent in my taste, so next time will ask for less. I mean the girl wo took my order was supersweet. Hot tip — try the miniburgers and mix three different kinds on one plate! Worth it!

I do enjoy the burgers at Burgermeester as well as the fact that this location is a stone’s throw from my apartment. The Spaanse lamburger is my favorite but their«Maandburger» is usually something interesting. They seem to be dreamed up and submitted by customers, which is kind of fun, and there have been some interesting combinations. Check the maandburger poster for the special burger. A straight cheeseburger is also tasty and, as you can see by the pictures from others, the burgers are thick. As an American, I miss the fries with my burger. But have learned to cope and usually get an order of coleslaw to sort of fill the void. All-in-all, I enjoy their burgers and it is usually a good place to grab a quick bite.

Great for the price range. Great burgers and good variety but no chips are served. Always very busy. Friendly staff.

Well, I really like this place. If you like burgers, do yourself a favor and try them. They do a very good job in keeping it simple and doing one thing very well: Burgers. So I had the lamb burger. The meat way really good and juicy and it came with red, pickled onions on top. Also tried the coleslaw, which was good, too. All I have to add that I am in general an easy grader and do not tend pick apart something that I thoroughly enjoyed and if I had the chance I would go here any day of the week and twice on sundays.

After hearing so many good stories I had to try it. I have to say I was disappointed. First of all, this place doesn’t serve fries. What happened to burger and fries, guys??? I had a lamb burger which was ok but I thought the meat was rather dry. My husband had a beef burger and same story here. So, a burger place with no fries and no juicy burgers… I find this place highly overrated and prefer Burger Bar much more!

A burger joint with no chips! The burgers are great the décor is great The attitude is a bit too cool but they’re clearly busy because the burgers are good I just can’t get passed no chips. Burgers with no chips?! I don’t even like chips that much but really, no chips?! Keeps me away every time.

What to do with the 45 minute gap between the end of our Heineken brewery tour and the beginning of our Heineken canal boat ride? Get burgers of course! All burgers are made fresh to order. The lamb burger with chorizo pepperoni was good for a fast food place, but not particularly memorable. They looked offended when I asked for a side of frites(they don’t have them), though they were able to offer me a whole baked potato(not nearly deep fried enough!) or grilled corn.

Like this place! :) Nice burgers, nice menu. Not as good as ‘Burger bar’ but I did like my burger better than the one at ‘The Butcher’. Prices are ok.

These guys give any legit burger place in the US a run for their money. The ingredients of the Spaanse Lamburger(lamb, chorizo, jalapenos) read like a dream to me — definitely had to pull the trigger on this one. Well priced too, at 8 Euros. The patty was juicy, but could’ve been a little bit bigger. Everything else was on point — spicy mayo, the right amount of chorizo, and an appropriately sized slice of tomato. The bun was characteristically European, wheat-based with a few nuts thrown in for good measure. A friend highly recommends their falafel veggie burger(great idea!). Sadly, no biers, but you can get a glass of milk to wash down your meal. Heerlijk!
