Bloemenbar

Loved this place so much that we went two nights in a row out of the 3 nights we spent in Amsterdam. There is usually a dj playing, the bartenders are really friendly, the drinks are relatively cheap, and there is a pretty cool smoking room on the second floor of the bar. The best part is that it stays open until late.

Very close to Kalvstraat, this little bar is a hidden gem.
Next door is the newly opened club Dolly which hit some new young wave. Bloemenbar itself is quite hippie and a fun mix. Fully packed if you drop by some weekend night. The crowd is fun and engages a wide range. Very cozy to chill with friends at the middle and back of the lounge. The selection for drinks are quite limited. I guess the highlight for this bar is its central location that easy for people to meet up. Haha, mid-​point!

Really nice place in the city centre. Young crowd, hipster, alternative. Great for having drinks and the interior is cool and artsy.
