So first the negatives: my friend did not get what he ordered (but what they brought him was good), and the bagels don’t have the right consistency (but they still taste good). I ordered the special which was super tasty though all I can remember is the sun-​dried tomatoes… must eat more sun-​dried tomatoes… yum yum. And we got a baked good which was also good (and I have a hard time finding ones I really like in this country for some reason). They have indoor and outdoor seating. It was quick and tasty. Recommended!

Being form the New York area it is very hard for me to even eat a bagel outside of the Tri State in the US. Bagel Nash has forever changed this for me. I had a whole wheat type everything bagel here with Hummus and it was a weird combination but seriously delicious. I even went back multiple days in a row to have it again. I’m unsure if it was the homey atmosphere, the friendly owner, the homemade hummus or the free wifi inside, but I sure loved this place. I also tried their latte while here the second time and it was very good considering I had a few not good ones before Bagel Nash.
So besides already having reasonable prices and delicious food and espresso, they also have multiple types of pastries and cakes to choose from. They also looked amazing but sadly I was full from my awesome choice. I for sure will be going back here if I ever return to Amsterdam!

While everyone else is raving about the bagels, I’m more a fan of their pastries. The carrot cake is nice, but what really tickles my pickle is their walnut and particularly their poppy seed pastries. Cookies and cake rolls filled with thick concentrated poppy seed paste, quite a rarity in A’dam.
To my knowledge, Pizza & Co is the only other bakery in a’dam selling poppy seeds goodies but I always feel intimidated popping in there when there’re other customers… I’m so sorry I’m not an orthodox Jew, but I go where my tummy commends me to…
Make sure you don’t have to pass a drug test shortly after ingesting these poppy seed treats in order to avoid any Elaine Benes scenes…
