Nine

Service and appetizers at the bar were good. Limited draft beer selection is the only knock I have on this restaurant.

A delayed update, but better late than never!
I returned to Nine for lunch with a friend. I couldn’t decide between a beef burger or a veggie burger. They are massively different but since I can get a beef burger anywhere, I went for the veggie option. I’m glad I saved a cow and went for the grass –This was hands down, one of the best veggie burgers I have every had!
The burger itself was juicy and flavourful — the way they dressed the burger was like putting it in bloody Hugo Boss. Wakame? On a burger? BRILLIANT! This was well executed, balanced and innovative. I did have a question that I never got around to asking the server. If I recall correctly, the burger is served with a wasabi mayo but the burger is identified as vegan. I’m not a vegan but I’d be curious to know if it was a ‘vegan’ mayo? Overall, well done Restaurant 9. I’ll be back for that burger!
