I love this grocery store! They are like how Starbucks are in the US… just about on every corner. AH is always there when you need it and they are open pretty late too. I love their baked goods, including their pastries and bread. The smell of fresh bread overwhelms the store and it is such a wonderful smell. They also have fresh squeezed juices in just about every flavor combo you can imagine. Those dang juices are definitely one of the things I miss most when I think about traveling to A’dam.

I’ve been to quite a few AH around the city and this one is definitely my favorite! The store is spacious compared to some in the center and carries some good items. I can even get Swiss Buenderfleisch in the Deli ;) They have overall a nice selection!

Yay!
Came here to pick up some snacks one afternoon before heading back to our hotel. Actually didn’t mean to come here but my companion and I were wandering around Albert Cuyp Markt and then went down some side streets and ended up here. We got a bunch of really yummy snacks (think non-​salty pepperoni and cheese wrapped in meat) as well as a huge bottle of brand-​less cola (for € 0.50) and some babybel cheese. I thought prices for everything looked reasonable but then again, I’m unfamiliar with Amsterdam grocery prices. All of the produce looked relatively fresh and we had a fun time browsing and looking at unfamiliar packaging and products.
The only down side was that they didn’t accept credit card.
