Great place to get an organic chicken in Amsterdam. Nice little shop with some great food options. I would highly recommend a visit if you’re in Amsterdam, and wanting to cook a nice organic, whole chicken. Can’t go wrong here.

THE BEST TERIYAKI CHICKEN SANDWICH IN AMSTERDAM!
Arie van Buuren has been running his poelier for years in the heart of the Jordaan and his marinades that he lovingly flavors his chicken with are legendary in Amsterdam and throughout the Netherlands. Everything is fresh and organic, and what he does not have on hand he can special order such as our annual 12 kilo Thanksgiving turkey or whole rabbit and ducks for your gumbo.
Aside from the beautiful poultry, rabbit, pheasant and duck, Arie alone is worth the visit as you relax upon walking in the door due to his warm and caring persona. Make this a stop on your next visit and take in yet another jewel of the Jordaan.
