I have never been in the restaurant but this is the sushi place I normally order.

Sugoi is my go to sushi place in the neighborhood. Not because it’s in walking distance and the prices aren’t too bad mind you. The fish is always been reasonably fresh and the service is almost too fast to believe. Along with that I always get a smile from whomever is working when I go to pick it up.
I have even ate there for lunch twice but be warned there’s no frills in the restaurant. It’s really set up to be a Takeaway place.

I just live down the street so order from here all the time. The salmon skin roll and avocado rolls are terrific. Having eaten in plenty of Tokyo sushi joints and more around Asia, it’s unfair to compare quality, but these guys do a decent job. One of the better takeaways in Amsterdam.

After eating sushi in the best places in Tokyo, it is kind of hard to find the great quality back home. Sugoi is the best in town, fresh, fast, great deal, very friendly staff. I could eat it everyday, I am not kidding. Try it if you don’t believe me!

Excellent and fresh sushi that is delivered in the Jordaan within 30 minutes of ordering. Sugoi! Sushi also has seating for 10 in the restaurant where you can interact with the wonderful family who operate this jewel of the Jordaan.
