We’ve been here several times in the past. Typically delicious. This time it was a bit off. The tuna with arugula had an odd dressing and the ceviche a bit odd with green olives. The pork tacos however… fantastic! The one thing that we’d like to see change here is the dessert delivery. It comes on a blue surfboard with the desserts stuck tackily atop with fondant. Dessert needs to be made a bit more elegant. It was fun for a time, but the surfboard needs to go. And… The«piano» player… hmmmm… how to be nice… not only does the piano need to be tuned… but the player too. Yikes.

The food was good. The service was great. Too bad we didn’t find out there was no running water until we finished dinner. I hope everyone in the kitchen washed their hands so I don’t have to leave a diarrhea deposit later.

My wife and I ate here for a night away from our resort and were very happy with the choice. We had the catch of the day(snapper) two ways — grilled and al pastor. I probably preferred the grilled but both were very nice. Service was attentive and excellent. We also had the pumpkin soup as an appetizer which was unique and interesting. All of the restaurants around Punta mita are a little touristy and have to have a gimmick. Tuna Blanca’s appears to be serving dessert on surfboards, which was a hit with the families around us. I noted some children being invited into the kitchen to assist with preparation, which obviously was exciting for them. We did not order desert as we were stuffed, but they were kind enough to to bring us small chocolates anyway, which was a nice touch. The service was really excellent. Views of the bay were nice but only a handful of tables were on the front row. They have a pianist which is nice but probably out of place for the setting.

AMAZING service and food. The dessert/surf board is off the hook. The waiters are very attentive. It is very clean and beautiful, I love the colors and the ambiance.

I attended Tuna Blanca for a rehearsal dinner with a set menu. The food was wonderful– it was buffet style with many options. The meats were very flavorful and cooked perfectly. The dessert was like a piece of art and equally delicious as the rest of the meal. Osmar, our waiter, was very attentive and kind. He certainly did a great job keeping the wine glasses full! The restaurant is huge, clean, and pretty. The outdoor area is beautiful and right on the ocean. I would highly recommend this place if in the area and would certainly go back to try the menu.

Atmosphere is very nice but the food was so so along with being a bit overpriced. 3 of 4 dinners at our table were less than average. We elected not to have dessert, but our waiter(Gabriel) brought us a plate of 4 macaroons that we thought were complementary. Turns out he added them to our bill. When we asked about it, he claimed it was a mistake. I am told that the owners also owns Blue Shrimp. Go there, MUCH better all the way around!

Nice restaurant with good food. True tuna tartar and ceviche were delicious. It’s a pretty big place but not too busy. We only got seafood here and everything was fresh and tasted good.

The service was excellent. The view was outstanding… right on the ocean. The amiance was also very, very nice. I thought the food was very good but for the price a bit pricy. I’m not one to be cheap, but it did think the meal was very good but compared to the prices not worth 5 starts. I do recommend it.

Delicious, great service and coolest presentation of desert I’ve seen. I look forward to going back next time in Punta Mita.

Great restaurant in the sleepy town of Punta Mita. The margarita’s are delicious and the tomato salad with cheese foam was so good we ordered it two nights in a row . Fresh fish and sea food in many preparations– spicy or with garlic and oil. The desserts are served on surf boards with personalized messages written in berry sauce
