How this restaurant is rated 5 stars is beyond me. I’d give it a 2.5 but am rounding down to provide a more accurate average. Setting is nice with beautiful views of the ocean. Pacing was completely off. Both cheese plate and salads arrived at same time. Pizza arrived before appetizers were done, and the pizzas(we ordered two types) were the worst any of the three of us in my party have ever had. Soggy crust with lots of cheese and almost no tomato sauce.

La pizza«La Posta» al carbón es lo mejor que he probado hasta el momento aquí en Puerto Vallarta.

Fantastic Food! We had spaghetti, fish, shrimp wrapped in fish over a risotto layer and a salami pizza. Do not remember the name of the wrapped shrimp but it was awesome. Pizza is made in a wooden oven so flavor is great. The other two dishes also had great flavor and presentation. The atmosphere is nice as they play Latin music that gives a crossover sensation. Prices are ok for the quality of the food, although the sizes are not massive, they are ok to satisfy. Wine is a bit price but there is a good selection. People serving is really nice with your kids. An overall 5 stars experience.

Absolutely excellent pizza! We stopped in for lunch and shared a wood fire pizza + drinks. Food was delicious, drinks were 2 for 1(& strong!), and service was fantastic. We will definitely eat here again!

Definite [food] highlight of our trip to Puerto Vallarta. We sat upstairs with a view of the beach during sunset, absolutely beautiful. Our server, possibly the owner, provided great service and even better conversation. I had the calzone, my wife had the caprese pizza, we were both more than satisfied! The ambiance, especially on a night like when we were there was amazing. They had some 80s soul playing(think Off The Wall, Michael Jackson, Peabo Bryson, Minnie Riperton, etc) which came as a pleasant surprise to me. Highly recommended.

This is a little gem in paradise. Located on the malacon where you have a variety of tourist trap restaurants. La posta is a breath of fresh air. Came in for the pizza special. As most things in PV that are Americanized foods this place tops them all. I would even say rivals some pizza joint in the states. Even though we only had pizza and beer. The pizza was one of the best that I have had in a long time. This is true thin crust wood fire oven pizza. The toppings are super fresh. I have to give a big kudos to the staff. Very attentive and will go the extra mile. It’s summer it’s hot and muggy the servers right away turned on all fans and ac. Once we received our pizza the manager actually came to the table to make sure everything was okay. Stunned. We eat out often in PV and this is a rare occurrence. Must try folks!

Love love loved it! Great Italian in awesome PV. Go for the pizza and freshly made pasta. Lots of great wine choices too. Bread was just ok but t-bone was lovely. Great service. Awesome ocean view. Ask for Vito.
