The place was amazing. We had the pork appetizer, skirt steak, pasta agnolotti, grilled broccoli and a plum tart. The service was flawless. Our waiter was attentive and extremely pleasant. They had a great selection of wine.

Former sous chef from Quince in San Francisco and his wife opened this place. Boy does he work hard at it. I had a table that had a direct view of the open kitchen. He is on top of everything that comes out and it all looks spectacular. The menu seems like a work in progress. Like the concept of having a limited number of item to choose from. Given the size of the menu you would expect that all of the food would be exceptional. We tried most of the menu. Most of what we had was very good but not excellent. Pasta –Scialatelli was the highlight of the menu for us. Can’t say that I’ve had many pasta dishes that were better. Brussels sprouts are outstanding as well. The main dishes were a little disappointing to all of us. Maybe our expectations were to high. Lower yours and you will like what you order. Staff is wonderful. Our waiter came down from Quince in San Francisco to work here. He was excellent. Definitely check this place is as it is headed toward greatness.

Very disappointed once again! I really don’t understand how people can rave about a restaurant that serves ordinary food at very high prices? Is it becoming a trend in Vallarta? I had the zucchini ravioli with shrimps, tasteless! the beet and arugula salad: beet from the can with 3 leaves of arugula. There are much better restaurants in Vallarta for that price range!

Made it back with friends last night and I’m sticking with 3 stars. No one loved their food — it was OK but not worth the stiff tab(which they refused to split — we just wanted two because one couple spent considerably more). First time I’ve ever had that happen in Mexico — ever. It was really hot and stuffy in the corner they stuck us in — noisy too with all of the bus traffic. Snotty waiter and long wait for the check. No one feels the need to return.

I would say this place has the best Italian food in Puerto Vallarta. I ate their twice recently so I could try out a variety of dishes and everything I had was fantastic, including the best blueberry tart I have ever had. The wine was yummy too. The owners are extremely welcoming and knowledgeable about their food and wine. The servers are entertaining and efficient and truly seem to enjoy their jobs. I would not hesitate to recommend this place.

This place is amazing. Atmosphere, food and service are FANTASTIC. Definately a new gem in PV that is worth experiencing :-) Mushroom ravioli, chicken dish, steak dish — all so fantastic. Even the bread sticks on table were to die for(homemade and delish). We were too full for dessert but since one of the owners is a pastry chef we had to go for it and at least share something so we can all have 1 bite — We destroyed the pie(lime tart meringue) — Best I’ve eve had!

This is really the best restaurant we dined at in Puerto Vallarta. Chanan and Natalie are bringing a taste of relaxed and delicious San Francisco dining to PV. We had truly superb burrata, perfectly tender osso buco, and an amazing sorbet after dinner. Even the kale salad was unique and tasty(I’m not normally into praising kale salad…). And the drinks were inventive and delicious too. Food was so good we came back two more times during our visit, each time to a slightly revised menu. If you visit PV, this should be the one restaurant that you put on your must-visit list.

Fantastic! For starters, I had the kale salad with apples arugula cherry tomatoes, peanut and shaved grano padano cheese with a balsamic dressing. Then I had the fettuccine which was served with porcini mushroom infused with a garlic, shrimp and red wine sauce. Our dessert was an almond chocolate cake which ended the experience heavenly. Yum! Also, the staff is very friendly and Natalie and her husband, the chef, resonate passion for their craft.

Excellent, fresh and delicious Italian food — worth seeking out. The place is small and cozy with 2 beautiful Mango trees growing through the roof of the restaurant. The service is personal and wonderful and the owners, Chanan and Nathalie, who moved to Puerto Vallarta from California to pursue their dream of opening a restaurant here, went out of their way to make us feel welcome(we were here from California, New York and New Jersey on a family reunion). We ate some sublime, perfectly cooked small raviolis filled with a variety of different and tasty ingredients from peas, cauliflower and fava beans. Each was distinct and delicious. The agnoletti filled with sausage and veal was yummy. We also had some really tasty starters — a fig and burrata appetizer as well as a corn flan/polenta(can’t remember what it was called now) — that are definitely worth ordering. Desserts were yummy too — the almond cake had a very nice texture and just the right amount of sweetness, the blueberry tart was fresh and had a nice crunchy crust, and the chocolate pudding was rich and creamy. I guess it’s pretty clear we like this place!
