Very good. We kept it simple, got a couple tacos of each type. The«Tacocontenedor» tacos were the best. I also loved the camarones te rajas. Luis was a great server. Super fast, very nice, and helpful. If you don’t want to spend too much and you want to quickly fill up on good food, this place is really good.

We ate here last night — two adults, two kids. It’s a lovely little place in the crack between two buildings. Seating is outside under a huge tree or an awning. No a/c, but there is a huge fan. It’s just a little bit off busy 5th avenue. The lone waiter did a great job of taking care of all of the tables. Every single table was populated by Americans, so if you’re thinking you’ve found the latest secret place, this isn’t it. The food is great and the service is friendly. Total bill was $ 36 including tip, which is a great value. Expect to order two or three of the soft tacos per person.

One of my fave places to eat in Playa! The servers are attentive, and the food is very inexpensive. The fish tacos are delicious. The fresh coconuts can be sliced open after you drink the water out of them. The only thing I wish they did was fresh juices like some of the other places nearby.

Tacos were good and inexpensive. Not the best taco we had in Cancun but was good nonetheless. I will caution you with water products.

Was ok food was the first stop on our vacation. After eating at some amazing places this was an afterthought! Stay away from the lobster tacos way to salty no lobster flavor

This place is amazing. I visited playa del carmen for my birthday and enjoyed the music festival The waiters are really nice and give wonderful service. The food is really good and comes out fast. I ordered a burrito but they give you so many various salsas and different sauces. I celebrated my birthday here bought a cake from across the street. Really nice restaurant and very friendly people.

Just wow… you read this make sure you go there and you ll enjoy. First Mexican food in Playa del Carmen that was so delicious. Definitely best taco in town, you can’t compare to the other places. I almost doubted eating there, if it wasn’t for the reviews that i have read, i’d have probably left. Not because the place look bad or anything, but it wasn’t packed like other restaurants. I have no clue why. Food is just amazing!!! I think this is our place to eat for the rest of the vacation.

Great little taco place, just off 5th Avenue in a garden al fresco setting. Delicious guacomole and tacos. Tacos are quite small… I ordered 2(fish + veggie) + guacomole + fresh coconut and this was perfect for a not too hungry diner. Total was 135 pesos! There were a few mosquitos as there is a small water garden — staff have repellent though. Great free wifi too. Staff are a bit relaxed but lovely.

This was the first food spot we stopped at on our Mexico trip. Tacotenedor has a very local appeal to it, a small shack like corner joint sandwiched between two other shops/buildings. The seating arrangement is limited, but it’s a quick bite place. They mainly serve tacos, as the name suggests. They’re extremely cheap; but the size of the tacos are small as well. So be prepared to order plenty if you’re planning on making a meal out of it. I didn’t like the fact that there’s not enough meat that they provide in their tacos. But I suppose they’re limiting the food content due to their cheap price and expecting customers to order more! It’s worth a visit, but as I said before… be prepared to order more than 2 tacos to fill you up!

This place would have gotten a 5 star if it weren’t for the slowest service I have ever experience, it took us 20mins to get our menu or actually I just waited and waited until I went to get the menu myself and there was only 2 tables for that waiter… cheap seafood tacos that range from $ 2-$ 4US… very tiny but good snack, we ordered 5… they have lobster, shrimp, octopus, squid, fish tacos… Cute outdoor seating with fresh ingredients

Devine food. Wish I tried everything! Man, this place lives in my dreams, now. Are the servers burnt out? Sure. But believe me, when I say that the food is So good that you’ll forgive and forget. As a stickler for customer service, I’d normally deduct stars for crappy staff, but the food is just that good. Get there early, because food sells out. Fish/ingredients are brought in fresh daily. Pass on the mojito.

I wasn’t impress. Yes, the tacos are cheap but so do the portions. You need to go to an island where you top your tacos with salsas, pico de gallo, coleslaw, pickle onion, and cabbage thing. It is fun when the place is slow, but must be annoying when a lot of hungry people wants to do the same. I tasted the octopus taco and was ok, not chewy, but a lil passed. The lobster taco was x. The marlin taco had the better amount of food, however it was bland and way too liquid. The tortillas they use were soggy when I tried to eat just a one tortilla taco… When I saw the three tiny pieces of the skirt steak I realized that this place could be facing a struggle in between raising their prices or moving to a more affordable location. The service was awesome. The waiter was fast, accurate, with wide knowledge of the menu; polite, considerate, and kind when a group of regios tried to still our umbrella.

Cute taco joint tucked along Constitution Ave. they have specials everyday so check your utensil box. Since we went on Tuesday, we got the tuna empanada for half off. Tuna Empanada — 4⁄5 — very small pieces of tuna but well seasoned Fresh coconut — 5⁄5 — you can see them hacking off the top of a fresh coconut with a machete in the back! They serve you the coconut water from inside and will then cut the coconut in half so you can eat it with a tangy spice or dressing on the side. Delicious and refreshing!!! Fish taco — 4⁄5 — very small portion of fish Shrimp taco — 5⁄5 — well seasoned shrimp with cactus and cheese Another cheap place — we got 5 tacos, the Empanada, and coconut water for $ 10USD!

Very nice place for tacos and a beautiful outdoor ambience. They have a vast variety of fish choices from octopus to marlin and a salsa island to create your own toppings: coleslaw, mango chipotle, pickled onions, salsa verde, etc. The star of the night was the smoked marlin and the tender octopus. The guacamole was great too but it’s redundant in Mexico. Anywhere you go the guac is amazing. The only comment is that the tacos could have a little bit more filling. They are on the skimpy side. Fair service for México(20 minutes for a guacamole!) Very nice place though…

Ufff uff uff y recontra uff!

¡VAMOS!!!
