Lido

The food here off of the menu is a joke, do not recommend. BUT, We did have their complimentary breakfast (that came with the place we were staying at off of 5^th gave us). And that breakfast was delicious and fresh. The stuff off of the menu is not authentic & they seem to Americanize (or try to) all their food items. The reason I am giving 4 stars is because the service is excellent and our server was very personable and even funny! Seemed like he enjoyed his job. I would return for the comfy beach front lounging and to drink their drinks, but no food!

We visited this beach club in 2011 and returned to visit in 2015. It is better than ever and in my humble opinion the best beach club in playa del carmen. It’s right on the beach and has great beach beds and chairs with umbrellas. The food and drinks are delicious and reasonably priced. Most importantly the customer service is exceptional. Alex, Johnny, Ricardo, Quetzal, Kara, Julio, etc. will take care of you and make sure you have a great time. Try the club sandwich for lunch, a smoothie, or the drink of the day. Best way to recharge on the beach in PDC.

We were only in PDC for a short visit on our way to Puerto Morelos. Sick and tired of being hassled by the vendors on 5^th ave we ducked down towards the beach and, since it was so hot and humid, stopped here for some cold adult beverages at the beach side bar. The drinks were good and cold but the bartenders were strictly business, just making drinks but not seemingly interested in chatting with the customers

Lido es un club de playa, como varios otros a sus alrededores, que ofrecen bebidas, comida, botanas, baños y regaderas y camastros para pasar todo el día en la playa.
Lindo se ha distinguido porque sus precios son más accesibles que los de los otros clubes de playa más ostentosos. Reconoces Lido de inmediato por sus camastros y sombrillas verde limón, inconfundibles. Los camastros son más bien sillones acolchados ideales para pasar el día leyendo un libro, cheleando o sólo bañándose de sol.
Las instalaciones están bien. Sencillas, la comida y la bebida son normales. Rico y no muy caro. Dependiendo de la temporada puedes rentar un camastro o tal vez solo con tu consumo puedes ocuparlo, pregunta al mesero y negocia un buen trato.
