Novotel México Santa Fé

I am disgusted of the terrible service provided by this hotel. I came here on the 20^th to spend time with my family that came over from Peru, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, we took about 10 rooms. We got all together for my wedding, and we thought that this hotel was going to be a nice hotel to relax have a good time and the location was ok.
Unfortunately this was not the case, first off, the key system is the most HORRIBLE and inefficient service ive ever seen. MORE THAN 50 TIMES I had to magnetize the card going up and down to the reception to have my key changed. TERRIBLE. avoid this hassle, unless you have the patience and time to speak with retarded helpless people on the counter that dont know what customer service is.
secondly, the people in charge of taking the luggage, (specially the tall fat guy with curly hair) is the most laziest and not courteous person. he didnt want to move a thumb to help carry our baggage and tried to avoid us many times.
The food, HORRIBLE, served cold, with no seasoning, no flavor, no dressings, very flat. I recommend to go to Vapiano that is in front of the hotel, it is much higher quality food and for the price is WORTH IT, or go to sanborns inside the Samara Mall (that is in front too) and you can have breakfast for half the price and of course is much much better than the crap food from NOVOTEL.
Lastly, and most important, DONT TRUST ANYONE HERE, I WAS STOLEN FROM MY ROOM, A BEAUTIFUL GUESS LEATHER JACKET THAT THEY DIDNT EVEN REIMBURSE ME. THEY DIDNT DO SH^&T. THE MANAGERS ARE TERRIBLE, they dont take any responsability, theres no chain of control.
In conclusion, go find another hotel unless you want to experience the CRAPPY AND HORRIBLE service my family had.

This hotel is nice and decent. I had no problems at all when I stayed. It’s a perfect location if you have business at the expo near by which I did. It’s within walking distance. It is right across from the mall which gives you something to do at a later time. I love the friends I made down stairs at their bar. Jorje the manager and Carlos were very sweet to me and made me nice micheladas. The staff has limited english but I had no problems communicating here.
The hotel room is clean and the shower is so nice. It’s one of those large round ceiling shower heads that rains water down on you. The cleaning service came in every day and made my room so nice. The downside was the lock box stopped working the second day of my stay so I had to keep valuables to store in my luggage. Nothing was stolen, maybe because I leave a nice tip for them every day! The pillows though… they are super hard. Well they give you a hard and a little softer one but they were both too hard for me.
I would stay here again if I had to go to a tradeshow nearby.
4 stars for the sweet staff for taking care of my cerveza needs and the orange juice is one of the best I had.
