Came here as we were craving for chicken rice and boy did it disappoint. It was dinner time on a Saturday and the restaurant was empty– but we decided to just try it anyways. We ordered half a chicken to share and the chicken was so so, it wasn’t as soft and slimy as expected. The rice was not cooked properly and was very hard. Food is kinda pricey — RM30 for half a chicken, but there wasn’t a lot of meat. Really wanted to like this place since it got rated best chicken rice, but it didn’t live up to its hype.

If you’re looking for a great place to have chicken rice that is cheap and delicious, you should pay Prosperity Bowl a visit because their chicken is really tasty. Before I start talking about how lovely the chicken tasted, I should inform you that most chickens are injected with antibiotics to prevent them from falling sick and catching diseases, which would result in the chicken either dying or losing its quality. Prosperity Bowl uses chickens without antibiotics in their cooking, so you’re not eating chemicals and the chicken is not chunky meat, but really smooth-textured and sweet.
