Bar-B-Q Plaza @ Sunway Pyramid

Who can say no to barbecued slices of meat? I think Bar.B.Q Plaza’s one of the most reasonable and affordable barbecue places that serves good meat. While it is not fancy and always crowded with not much space between tables, it is a good place to have a quick fix of some barbecue cravings. I went there with my cousin and sister and we ordered the set of beef slices. It was one stove per table, as most barbecue places provide. They do provide radish cubes for us to clean the stove from the oil and grease. If the stove was too dirty, the waiters would come and replace the old one with a new one and a new radish cube. My experience at Bar.B.Q Plaza was a great one and my cousin and sister agreed.

I came here a while back with my family, when I was still a heavy meat eater. It was endless. We ordered platters of pork strips, chicken slices, beef, fish slices and an abundant amount of vegetables (balance, people). I like how their stock and shredded cabbage are refillable as well as the tea here. The cabbage is what makes the soup sweeter.
It’s a bit unique here as it’s a combination of a barbecue and a steamboat. There’s a hot plate in the middle and surrounding it is a ‘pool’ where you can pour your soup in. The soup is kinda tasteless but that’s what the cabbage is for, it makes it sweeter. Trust me on that.
Prices here are kinda steep as well, I mean duh, meat is expensive. Just be cautious of coming here because when you leave, you will reek of barbecued meat.

I just have to say, YES. HOLY MOTHER !!! They have the BEST meat ever!!! So here’s a little information, Bar-​B-​Q Plaza is actually a self-​cooking barbeque restaurant where they offers the only high quality meat, freshly cut vegetables and along with incredible barbeque dipping sauce. Beware though, once you try it. There are no turning back. It’s like an addiction.
My friends and I love Bar-​B-​Q plaza especially this branch in Sunway pyramid. Our group are like 4 to 5 people and our usual are the supreme delux set which cost around RM 36.90. If you are a student, you could enjoy up to 20% off. Amazing isn’t it? Plus, if you love vegetables, you could have UNLIMITED refill for vegetables. What we do, usually are placing some oil to the grilling wok and dipped it in barbeque sauce. Trust me after this, you would be in love to their food. Besides, they work pretty quick around so you probably don’t have to wait for a long time. I would advise you not to go around peak hours especially on weekends. As you have to bear the waiting, It could take hours.
