For my personal fav, since I always have dinner with my partner, Meow, we always order a supreme pork set or economy pork set. That’s cause Meow does not consumer beef much. =S Hence the pork set(I don’t fancy chicken that much either) Green tea beverage is recommended cause it’s refillable for free. There are other drinks if you want. For instance, herbal tea, ice blended drinks and soft drinks. They also offer kid’s meal if you have children with you(Better feed the kids earlier so that you can enjoy bbq-ing) Overall experience: 4⁄5 Price Rating: 4⁄5(Saves me some cash and make me full and happy)

The first time I was here was because my friend insisted that she buy me my birthday dinner here. I said okay since I trust her taste in food. We walked in and there wasn’t a big crowd because it was a weekday and we were considered early. The staffs got us our seat immediately and she proceeded with ordering. She told me the special part of the restaurant is the ability to have your food cooked grill or boil style. First you must glaze the grill part with the pork lard they provided. Then add on whatever meat you want on the grill section. If you would like anything boiled then dip it in the lower part where the soup is located. When it’s all done, do not forget to mix their sauce with all the chilli and marinate your food with it and lastly, consume it. She has just convinced me how awesome the food is and I’ve been going back ever since the first visit.

Feel like cooking it your way? You can try to have a a BBQ plus steamboat session in one at bbq plaza, it is a thailand fusion kind of bbq and steamboat restaurant, I have no bad comment about this restaurant because we are the one who cook everything, so basically I am pretty enjoy that we can cook for ourselves Just one thing I can review about it, those seafood and raw meats are not really as fresh it looks.

This is a typical mainstream BBQ restaurant where you’ll be able to grill many types of meats ranging from beef, chicken and pork. Technically, this restaurant is not suitable for non-pork patrons(non-halal). It is good if you crave for meat, but don’t expect much as they serve very limited meat(unless if you pay more for it). Okay, let’s cut the chase! I feel that this restaurant is too main stream to the point where I feel that this eatery shouldn’t even be listed as an eatery that I wish to go in the near future. I feel that there is a hole in my pocket whenever I visit this place. The food is not as fresh as it seems, the portion is small and it’s expensive(even if it’s on promotion). Every single time my friends and I visit this place, we will end up having a 2nd round after that. In this era, there is a rapid growth of BBQ-style restaurants and I’m truly thankful for it. At least it allows BBQ Plaza a run for their money. We had a few hiccups with the waiters as well as they take such a long time to take our orders to the point that we wanted to walk out. I won’t say BBQ Plaza is all that bad, but I wouldn’t wish to spend a dime to have my meals in this eatery, EVER!

The first time I tried out so called Thai food will be Bar B Q Plaza at One Utama Shopping Center. You can choose to barbecue the ingredients, or you want to boil it with chicken soup. I normally go in a group. What’s the point to have barbecue yourself? So, grab your friends and try it out! We normally order supreme set with additional a la cart e. The price is reasonable. It satisfied everyone’s stomach after finishing all the ingredients. The restaurant has been renovated two years ago, so it still look very new and they are manage to keep it clean. The food was kept inside freezer. The crew will only take it out and deliver to the customers when ordering. I love their dipping sauce. I am not sure what it called. It was sweet and slightly spicy. Adding on to the meat when grill it on the pan, the meat will soon become the best food in the world! By the way, you are free to refill the cabbage, two times each table. So, normally we will utilize this benefit. When I was studying in college, me and my friends will rush to Bar B Q Plaza before 5pm. Reason because it gives discount to student. What you need to do is show them you student card. Overall, it was a great dining place we found at One Utama Shopping Mall. Remember bring your buddies together.

Bar-B-Q Plaza has been one my favourite barbeque restaurant ever since college days. It is a self-cooking Mongolian and Japanese style barbeque restaurant, where the customers can experience self-grilling of their meat and vegetables selections. Since 1987, the restaurant has come a long way and they have opened up braches not only in Thailand but also in Malaysia. Their first branch was in 1Utama Shopping Centre, at the Rainforest area. My friends and I love to go there and order one each of their pork and beef economy set. You can choose to go with white rice or garlic rice. What makes them so special is their special sauce. The savoury sauce tasted much better just by adding in some minced garlic, chili padi and lime juice. Each of the set comes with shredded cabbages, and you can have unlimited refill of the cabbages to add into your soup — this makes the soup sweeter. They have free refill for green tea and Chinese tea too. Bar-B-Q Plaza is an ideal place to have a nice meal, while chit chatting with friends and take your own sweet time to cook your food. As for the pricing, it’s quite reasonable too. If you are a student, you can enjoy 20% off with their express set lunch which cost about RM12.90. However, the only down side would be that you’ll walk out smelling like BBQ.
