Argh, what happened? My favourite chicken hor fun just became tasteless! All the joy of tasting chicken and prawn swimming in my mouth having a paaaarty, alllll gooooone!
Sigh. I guess consistency is a major problem for Pappa Rich.
My wife had the special fried rice with chicken wings. The fried rice was tasteless, the sambal was plain sweet and the chicken wings reeked of stale oil.
The only saving grace of the place? It’s a nice place to sit.
I guess the cook went to watch Star Wars and left Chewbacca in charge of food.

Despite the proliferation of fast food kopitiam-​like restaurants in KL, Pappa Rich is the one chain that’s successful innovated, introducing a slightly fancier establishment here in Nexus in the form of Pappa Rich Dining. The menu’s just a tiny bit expanded, but what’s important is that they get the fundamentals right. A decent cheap (but not cheap-​cheap, the way you can get in KL) meal where you know they’ll get everything on the menu right.

I’ve heard a lot about PappaRich restaurant, but when I tried one in Nexus it was nothing what I expected. It is actually upscale version of it! It offers you an exclusive menu and a really posh environment!
The food is glorious over here, after I had my first spoon of sang har meen I knew that I was gonna come here more often ! :) It is a tad expensive, dishes vary from 20 — 50 RM.
And don’t even get me started about those amazing piping — hot shrimp bites —- soooo yummY! Definitely a must try! :)
I can assure you that you will definitely enjoy your evening at this restaurant. :)
