Pandora

One of my sisters lives in Melbourne with her family so whenever she’s in town, she and my younger sister would get a charm from Pandora. It’s been their little tradition of sorts. We would usually go to the branch in Bangsar Village for no particular reason other than because we’re only used to going there since the beginning of their little tradition.
The shop in Mid Valley is about the same size as the one in Bangsar Village. And the variety of charms is also about the same. The newer ones are the rose gold collection and they’re just to die for! The interior is clean and white and not t mention bright. Jewelry stores have to be bright because the merchandise that they deal in are small and the customers need to be able to properly examine the accessories.
I’m telling you my sisters are lucky that I’m not so much into bracelets because those Pandora bracelets are so darn cute! If I were into their little tradition I wouldn’t have waited until my sister is in town, I would just go on and get one for myself whenever I feel.
But I guess that’s the thing about traditions huh? You can’t really break them.

So Christmas was around the corner and I needed to get something for my fiancé. It can be a headache at times looking for a gift but nonetheless there will always be something out there.
I remembered then she has just gotten a Pandora’s bracelet and has not many charms. Why not then go get her a charm right? It won’t be difficult to find a charm that is suitable to her liking, I thought so. But I was wrong.
There were so many types of charms with a wide price range. Some I thought, does it really be worth spending so much on a charm that is so small?
So I asked the staff who was at the counter to recommend me one. He was friendly and eager to know what my fiancé would like. So I explained to him what would she like and he took out this purple-​stone charm. it looked really pretty. And immediately I thought she would definitely like it.
I decided to go with it and yes truly, she does really like the charm. Maybe next time I’d go back to look for another for her next Christmas gift!

As you know, Mid Valley Megamall is a very popular mall for people of all ages and it’s crowded all the times. So, what you’d expect from this Pandora outlet would be the same too.
Pandora, already being something so demanded lately and so greatly discussed, you’ll find that a lot of their outlets are always crowded and that’s especially during festive seasons. Being an outlet that’s located in such a packed mall, you know what it will be like.
Having visited here for a time when I was shopping in Mid Valley Megamall, I really have to brave through the crowd, just to be able to stand in front of the counter. Then, the sort of exhausted staff will try her best to smile at you and ask you how she can help you. I don’t blame her, really — the crowd is mad.
Apart from the crowd part, their staff here are still considered friendly and helpful. No complaints on repetitive request to have a look at this charm and that charm, no complaints when I ask her to let me try on some of them either.
Rather good service I would say, in fact quite good if you don’t mind the people pushing you from behind when you’re looking at your charms — please beware of possible snatch thieves here! They really stand so close to you — sigh.
One thing good is that their charms here sells out pretty fast, so they do stock in on a very frequent basis as well. For example, I managed to buy my goat charm here, despite of having failed to find it at other outlets as it’s sold out in other outlets.
So, I come to learn that they actually stock up their stocks from Hong Kong, as specifically for the goat’s charm as this is the Chinese Goat Year, so, this became quite a hot pick for a lot of people.
So, if you are looking for charms and you could not find it at other outlets, do ask from the staff if they will stock up anytime soon, provided that you don’t mind the crowd :)
