Really cool place, think of it a local McDonalds but not with burgers necessarily, this place has self service also but it’s cool, it has awesome local dishes, I tried Nasi Lemak, it’s really good, a taste of chicken and some stuff I don’t understand but I like! The service is slow but the food is worth it :) if you have company you wouldn’t notice! well a bit actually if you are standing it quite sucks. But my friend and I kept talking and haven’t noticed: D Make sure to try Nasi Lemak with Coke! not the healthiest but the tastiest!(not sure that’s even a word: D).

I was walking around Mid Valley while waiting for a friend to come over so we could have drinks together at the Library(my friends have a habit of showing up late) when I came across yet another new shop that just opened. I haven’t been to this part of Mid Valley in a very long time and to see it filled with new shops and booths is a pleasant surprise. I took a gander at their menu and the items offered were really quite impressive. They had Mee Kari, Laksa, Otak Otak and of course the nasi lemak. They claim to be the specialist in nasi lemak but I could bet there are hundreds of nasi lemak enthusiasts that beg the differ(eg: Nasi lemak antarabangsa!) The place was nice and clean. It somewhat looked like a food court but the hanging light bulbs lent it a more modern feel. The smell that was emitted from the kitchen made me want to try a dish but my phone rang before I could make an order and it was my friend saying that he had arrived, early! Gasp! All in all, I would give it 3 out of 5 stars. But if the smell were any indication of how good the food is, I’m sure that rating would change. I’ll keep you updated!

It’s very embarrassing, but I have to admit this. It took my half a year to try out the most national Malaysia’s dish — Nasi Lemak. I was considering for a long time, where should I go and I’ve decided — My Nasi will be the place that will set my opinion on Malaysian food. They are Nasi specialist and sell real local delights. It is not a very special place they have a very simple concept, self service where you can get your food very quickly and it’s a perfect place for those in a rush. My verdict is that I’m going to eat Malay food more often. I really liked the rice in the coconut milk and it was really reasonably priced — 6.90RM. Worth a try! :)
