Poh Kong

Gone are the days when gold jewellery was seen as the accessories of the older generation. Poh Kong caters to those from all age groups and has designs to suit each persons taste. My favourite is their Disney Princess line of jewellery. They have crown pendants and even Winnie the Pooh pendants for sale for the younger generation. They not only carry gold products but also white & rose gold which is more towards my taste I feel. Poh Kong even does customised name necklaces in gold and white gold. Services offered by them also include polishing of your old gold jewellery.

Poh Kong has really upped their jewelry game lately haven’t they? I was waiting on a friend who was getting some toiletries from Guardian so I walked aimlessly till I reached the brightly lit display units of Poh Kong.
The insides of the place were pure gold, the lighting, the jewelry (obviously,) even my complexion in the mirror was a nice golden brown. Everything was shining and gleaming and left me feeling very underdressed (flip-​flops, jeans and a t shirt… it was my off day.) The smiling lad behind the counter asked me if he could help me with anything, I said I was just browsing. What he didn’t know was that I was secretly imagining the beautiful platinum ring with the brilliant 6-​carat square-​cut diamond wrapped around my ring finger. Aaaah to live inside ones own head.
So as I mentioned earlier, they really did up their jewelry designs lately. I’m so used seeing normal gold chains and all but here, they have those and then some! They had rings in the shape of an abacus, a necklace that resembled deep-​sea corals and a pendant intricately designed in the shape of a dragon.
Way to keep up with the times PK!
