Really like this spot, it’s definitely on the expensive side but their vegetarian burgers are divine, particularly the red lentil and brown rice one

Blazing Salad’s has been going a long time and is pretty much identical now as it was when I began eating here nearly 15 years ago [oulwan alert]. Staff have always been super polite and friendly over the years which always made me leave here with a smile on my face. I am not a veggie or a vegan. I very much enjoy my rare steaks, streaky rashers and chicken wings. However, I do love healthy veggie and vegan food. Tofu can taste amazing if it is cooked correctly with the right ingredients. This is a pick up and go kind of place. Hot buffet and cold buffet with cakes and pastries behind the counter. They also do some yummy soups. I think what I like best about here is that the food is weighed. If I am in town and feeling peckish I can pop in and get a small healthy snack to keep my going until dinner time. Or if I want a proper lunch, I can do that too and along with my salad bowl I can add some bread or soup. The corn bread is a big favourite of mine. I bulk up on the salad leaves and beansprouts and then add the more substantial stuff. Otherwise I have a tendency to buy waaaaay too much and it goes to waste [or I eat too much]. The containers can fit a lot more than you may initially think! Dublin is lacking in places like this. I just wish they also had a place on the Northside too!

Love this place! Friendly, quick, affordable service! Walking distance from my college, so I get lunch here on a daily basis instead of places like dunnes which doesn’t have that many options for vegans.

Ok so boy can I be wrong. This place is just great for lunch. It took me a while to get the hang of it but being able to pick what you want is fantastic. And the range of foods they have is incredible. I feel bad having only given my initial 3 star review but they changed around the place a bit and it just completely works. I’ve even come to love the standing at the window sill when eating! Keep up the good work!

This review isn’t for the salads as I haven’t had them yet I wanted something warm and quick while I was walking around town. Me and my mam went in and ordered food that we were told would be a few minutes to heat up. I got a spinach and feta filo parcel. My mam had like a square piece of pizza with all cheese on top. We waited a few minutes anyway and paid the girl. The place has no chairs but you can stand at the window and eat if you like but the door was wide open the whole place felt abit dull and cold to me. The staff just looked miserable. We got the food after a few and started our walk back through town but when we opened our bags of food they were both cold. My filo parcel was hot outside and freezing in the middle and had no flavour at all. The pizza looked grand jus also cold and abit greasy. Il come back to try the salads they look great but no more food from their deli counter!

Blazing Salads – my new go-to place! I’ve always passed Blazing Salads while running errands or meeting friends up in the city, but have never found the time to come during business hours. It was always their bright orange awning tantalizing me with their vegan goodies! I came in here for a quick lunch. Blazing Salads has a case of pastries/baked goods, a section to build your own salad, as well as hot food. It’s kind of a cafeteria style type place – you grab a box and fill it up with whatever your tummy/heart(or both) desire, and they price it by weight. They’ve also got a fridge filled with frozen meals as well as an array of beverages to choose from. What’s a definite plus for me is that they’re pretty quick so you can pop by during your lunch break for not only something healthy, but also delicious. They’ve also got a whole case of vegan baked goods to tempt you before you pay! It’s pretty dangerous, but it’s vegan. so it’s good for you, right? I can’t argue with that logic, and neither should you. Blazing Salads, I’m so lucky I found you. And I know we just met, but will you marry me? Signed, Jess’s tummy.

Self-service vegetarian salad bar & hot food counter. Really good quality, tasty and nutritious salads. I would happily eat here every day if I could! Really nice to take away and eat in the park. Some nearby cafes also allow you to bring your Blazing Salads lunch box in to enjoy with their coffee(Kaph, Accents) which is good! They have a «collect ten stamps» loyalty card for a salad freebie after you get ten too. Only downside is it’s quite pricey. I recently got one of the boxes and filled it mostly to the brim — it was almost 10 euro! Yikes. Yummy but expensive.

The best place for vegans in all of Ireland! The salads are amazing. Love the vegan apple pie & cheesecake too. They also do hot food. All food is clearly labelled with the complete list of ingredients. No real tables and can be very busy here at lunchtime but well worth going to. Highly recommended!

Really great place! It’s really small and always packed at lunch time, but it is always packed because the food is so delicious! Everything is perfectly labelled as to what is in the dish. They weigh the box and then charge you for the weight of your box so it is VERYYY easy to go over board! It is a perfect spot for grabbing a healthy delicious and nutritious take away and then going and sitting in St Stephens Green on a sunny day. Over all really great place, I can’t judge anything other than their food though as it is all I have tasted!

Ladies and gentlemen. May I present to you *rampampampa* Something you’ve never experienced before. It’s amazing, it’s blazing, it’s… Salads? Wait? Whut?! Maybe the name is a little theatrical, but hey, whatever. That doen’s matter. And maybe the title doesn’t cover the subject totally. Because they have way more than just salads! I’m talking about hot food, cakes, savories, soups and frozen food. And lot of it is vegan. In checked in twice when I was in Dublin for 3 days. Nuf said right?

First time here but highly recommended. The food is absolutely amazing. With natural ingredients and vegan/vegetarian options this place is a health food dream. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Being coeliac and following a vegan diet combined with my other beloved allergies is bit of a challenge, but don’t we all like a bit of excitement and challenge throughout life. Blazing salad is one of my favorite food places to sort me out with little sweet treats and snacks, hearty warm dishes which are mostly gf and vegan friendly or their salad bar perfect for a picnic take away. But nothing compares to their absolutely delicious gluten free and vegan cheesecake which is hard to resist if I am just trying to pass by !

A popular yuppie salad bar. I’m a fan because the salads are all vegan friendly, and are worlds apart from the tired deli counter salads everywhere else — where couscous dominates the menu(for being cheap and filling). You pick your salads, add from a selection of dressings. There is also a smaller selection of hot foods to go. They also offer add ons like dairy free ice creams from the freezer, a selection of energy snacks, both sweet and savoury at the front counter, as you go up to pay, as well as chilled pre-packaged wraps(falafel, etc). They’re so popular they also have 2 cookbooks, which you can buy instore — they make lovely gifts for the health nut in your life. Salads here are calculated by weight, so its very easy to go overboard. If you fill up your carton, you could pay between € 7 – 9 for a salad! I never said this place was cheap! But you do feel verrrrry good afterwards(and maybe a little bit smug for choosing a healthy option). Fantastic on a summer’s day where you can grab and go and traipse up to Stephen’s Green for a leisurely lunch hour.

Cute-ta-boooot! This place is the bomb diggidy. And I feel I should say its also super groovy for old school great it is. Albeit small, this is the place for all your healthy heads out there that are running out of lunch hour to grab something nutritious. Freshly made soups, salads, chickpea burgers, flourless baked goods… the list goes on! It also stocks cupboard essentials if your into that kind of thing. Only draw back is that seating is slightly non existent. This place is always bursting at the seams, so would love to see them expand a little!

Wanted to eat healthily before the X’mas onslaught of food so where else to head off to except Blazing Salads? Loaded up my box with delish noodle salad, lentil and barley salad and potato and aubergine salad. You get the idea, it’s a fecking salad bar! A good portion set me back € 4.50 which is very reasonable and the food is mighty tasty and filling… I think I’m allowed a chocolate bar now from all that goodness!

Kay, so you walk in… and you help yourself to as much salad as you like… pile it into your box… bring it to the counter… they weigh it… depending on the weight your price can very. i.e. the heavier it is the more expensive it is… The place is great in terms of how fresh and healthy the ingredients are… and they have a huge variety. but you cant sit in — so its really only useful if the weather is nice and you can sit out and eat it. or sometimes its handy if im eating in the office and i just bring it back to my desk in work… i dont really like the idea of weighing it either cause you dont know how much its going to be and you dont want to be stuck for cash at the counter… and its tough if your tryna budget… they do salads like hummus, bean sprouts, beetroot. yummy !

Encantador, acogedor, sobresaliente.

You know what to expect with Blazing Salads and that is actually a complement. Consistency is hard to do, but they do it well. They produce a variety of salads daily, more or less the same each day(so you are guaranteed some of the lovely rice noodle salad whenever you are in ;)) and a variety of different hot dishes and soups, perfect if it’s a cold day and you are in need of some comforting fare. Their deli items too are great and I’ve tried most over the years. My favourites are the tofu and regular pizza slices, the rice and lentil burger and the courgette and carrot mini pie. The only thing I find hit or miss is their hummus, which is sometimes nice and sometimes just okay(I’m an opnionated hummus fiend). They do special offers for lunch and have a brilliant loyalty card scheme which is great for tight budgets, definitely a great lunch spot, but really for take away only as the only seating they have is a bench outside and a small counter at the window.

Well well well. Another vego-vegan-deli-bakery-salad-local-type establishment. It’s great to see these little places pop up around Dublin. Not because it’s vege(all hail meat eaters!), but because it’s an easy alternative to sandwiches. Sandwiches. I’m so over sandwiches. So, the deal is this; — Self-service-wise, they’ve got cold salad and hot food bars, charged by the weight. These can range from anything from chickpea salad, to vege lasagna — They also have counter food with such delights as risotto balls or pizza squares — Whether you be vegan, vege, wheat-alergic, or whateve else, there is defo something here for everyone.(Except meat-eaters. There’s nothing here for you!) — They also have fresh loaves of bread(I bought some soda bread yesterday for about 3 euros which was delish), and jars of random stuff like olives, sundried tomatoes, yada yada — Also, juices, teas, etc Don’t let the ‘earthliness’ of this place fool ya now. The food is absolutely De-lish. Really tasty, really filling, and after you’ve finished eating, it gives you that«I’ve just eaten something super healthy» smugness that’s hard to beat. Go there. Eat. Do it.

Hot and cold food bars, with delicious healthy food. The coconut ice cream they sell is also excellent. However, I was very disappointed that most of their bakery items were not gluten-free. Also, there is no seating — take away only. Yes, you can sit on the bench outside, but I wish it had more indoor space.
