Service is beyond ridiculous. I came 5÷2÷2016 it was my first time ever, and the lady was rude I asked if she had the $ 1 – 2 carne asada tacos with just meat and cilantro and cheese like some other shops have usually there a bit small and her response was«I don’t know do we?» I told her id never been here before and asked if i could have 2 like that and asked if they were single or double tortillas and she said«Does it matter?!» I asked for limes and sour cream on the side with chips and salsa, i said it was for here when she asked. After a 15min wait she gave it to me wrapped up to go and said«Here, its 10 bucks» I told her i said it was for here and she handed me a fork and said«then go sit» low and behold no salsa for chips and no sour cream. I asked and she said«you can wait so hold it» waited 5minutes and got nothing so i walked out and left. Never ever again Joses will i come here!

I ordered a bean tostada and did not feel well afterward. Maybe it was the amount of salt they used, or the lard. Either way, I won’t be eating here again. They did get my order correct, for that they get an extra star.

I popped in for a quick horchata and a couple of tacos, and I was glad it was so delicious. The reviews here are so mixed, it has me wondering what the situation is. I have sworn to go back and try some other items, most especially Jose’s fresh fried chicken. To my knowledge no other establishment makes home made fried chicken from scratch-so I will keep an open mind for this place. It is hard to be a small food business in this area. You never know if you will have 10 people or 50 people coming through. To even have a small eatery with one guy in the back cooking, his child coloring out front, his wife waiting on tables is in fact a fine place to support. As I said I enjoyed my small snack and I am excited to try Jose’s other menu items! I’ll report back.

This is another one if those looks can be deceiving places I’ve eaten! Food is outstanding. Burritos. Nachos. Hamburgers. Best fries ever! Steaks here are tender, Omelettes actually everything. Again the appearance isn’t stellar but service by Letty and Bree are exceptional. Jose on the grill makes magic. Homemade salsa. My fave is the chorizo Nopales breaky burrito. Don’t pass this place by!

While the service was great, the food was terrible. The beans were obviously canned. The salsa fizzled on our tongues and the chips were stale. The enchilada sauce was canned and poor quality. The meatball(yes just one) was rubbery in my soup. The Chile relleno tasted fine. The prices were very reasonable.

An old favorite! My husband and I enjoy the good food and excellent service here. Ordered the veggie breakfast burrito and it was delicious, just as I remembered it. My husband ordered the carne asada burrito and said it was one of the best in town! I’d definitely recommend Jose’s to anyone looking for a nice local spot to eat. Very accommodating staff and the owner even cooked our food! A+ in my book. Great Job Jose’s!!!

Not real good and not real bad. Average all the way. Nice server though. I’m surprised this place is even open as I rarely ever see anyone in there. I would go back if other options were not available.

My wife and I both had the enchiladas with beans and rice as our entrée. And chips salsa and guacamole for an appetizer. It was all bad. Even the Pepsi tasted just off. The décor of the place is horrible and it all together seemed uncleaned. I will definitely never go back. Especially since there is a very good Mexican food restaurant just across the street. We sent our plates back and payed for the drinks and chips and salsa and left.

Tried for lunch. Tasted like shit. Hit and miss with this place. Service was awful. Food tasted like it was re-heated from last week. Wanted to like it, but they can’t seem to stay consistent. Jose’s was empty at noon on a Wednesday. Small town, big word of mouth.

Far from mexican authentic food. Not that it was nasty just wasn’t full flavor. My husband and i got the carne asada burrito asked for sour cream and guacamole they puy it on top not on the inside. The only good thing about this trip is the People working there were really nice and there was one of their kids helping out what a sweetheart… So yea i won’t be going there again.

Took a friend there today for Brunch, and she ordered the Lunch Enchilada dish and I ordered the Breakfast Burrito w/chili Verde. Jose’ had never made that before and not sure that he could but attempted it any way, and it turned out Delicious. He said that I invented a new dish so I said should be called Dottie’s Special. The service is always so kind and always remembers your likes and dislikes. A very kind and down to earth home like atmosphere. Thank you

Our new place for lunch. We love the country fried steak sandwich! If I missed breakfast and am feeling extra hungry I add an egg to it. Haven’t tried much of anything else. Service is great and prompt. I am anxious to try the Mexican food. For now my staff and I are hooked on our sandwich. We promise to try other things as well. Great salsa! Thanks Jose! We are lucky to have you close by!
