Queens Medical Office PC

I decided to stay with this Doctor’s office in Woodhaven after my Dr. moved because this location was conviniently close to my home. After waiting for 1 hour and 24 minutes (even though it was a scheduled appointment), I asked the receptionist about completing a Medical Form required for my employment, she tells me that it costs $ 45 per form. ($ 45 just to write my vitals on a page!) And the reason being, because people drop off forms and they have to check immunizations. Even after I told the receptionist that they had my records and had the same information from last year, she replied that it was their office policy and I can change my primary care physician. So after all that wait, I walked out. After speaking with another Dr.‘s office, I went back to speak to them. I asked who I could speak to regarding this new policy, considering the form is the same as last year’s. Not only was she mumbling, almost as not wanting to answer my questions but she continued typing and avoiding eye contact… wonderful customer service! She didn’t even know when the manager would be there (unless she didn’t want to answer that too). When I asked if there was a fee to have the medical records released to me she said no, but when I read the form –there’s a 75cent fee per page. Does anyone know anything and do we just randomly make up policies to see what poor soul buys into it? How disappointing that I referred other patients who also require annual medical forms to be completed and now we all have to change.

This was like a third world clinic. I had an appointment at the Astoria location of this practice (3141 45^th St) and was told to arrive «between 3:30 and 6:30» and that it was «first come first served». I showed up at 3:30, and counted about 20 people ahead of me to see two doctors. The large room was crowded and NOT AIR CONDITIONED on a hot, muggy day. I feel it is very disrespectful to clients, many of whom waited for hours with no guarantee of being seen at all. I walked out. This was the worst office environment I have ever encountered.
