Excellent seafood! Price is very fair. Take out works well and is quick. Eat in waitstaff very pleasant and efficient. Atmosphere is surprisingly nice.

I was really disappointed. Not to far from the sea I expected much better food. The salad was Ok but not the freshest. As for the main course I could tell right of the bat that everything was frozen. The service was really good but sadly the food takes away from it.

We’ve lived in greenville for 9 years and have been to Mayflower many times. It used to be crowded but not anymore. The quality has gone downhill so much that it has lost a significant number of customers. During the past year, we’ve been two times and we will not go back.
It is true that the portions are huge but unfortunately, they substitute quantity for quality. Both trips our fish was terrible smelling and terrible tasting. If it were only one time, I would have thought it was just one of those things but both last two visits resulted in bad tasting and smelling fried fish. The first of these two times we returned the fish. They corrected it with a different type fish. The second time, we ordered fish and shrimp and since they gave us so much fish we didn’t want to wait for another order so we just ate the shrimp… which was plenty. It was very small shrimp and we tasted more of the breading than shrimp. None the less, because of the quantity, we filled up on fries and heavily breaded small shrimp.

This is a good seafood place for the generous amount of food that you get… But I would like to have real butter when I eat clams and oyster now that they have a oyster bar…

Excellent food at reasonable prices. Portions are large so plan on taking some home. I highly recommend the grilled shrimp.

When I lived in the Greenville area my family would go here all the time. Excellent seafood and their portions were always generous for the price you pay. Please do yourself a favor and go here to experience their fresh seafood.
