I have been coming here for a couple years now!!! And all I can say is I’m never disappointed. The best pizza sauce that no one can beat! The owner is very welcoming and always remembers you when you come in and can’t forget his words always Yum Yum!

The pizza never fails… However, the wings are disgusting!!! Only one flavor available and taste like something you buy in the frozen section at the market… Yuck taste like a freezer. Awful. awful don’t spend the money on wings only pizzzzza!!!

The pizza arrived 20 minuets late, and was boring. Unfortunately the crust was bad and the sauce had no flavor. Just a big disappointment

No way! Had an awful experience here I don’t get tricked into having a «coupon» you will be paying extra! The person we spoke was not only rude but super disrespectful. Never again! Treat people with respect!!!

Drove 40 minutes to try the pizza that I heard was absolutely delicious. Little hole in the wall, unique, and old school pizza house I found. Ordered a large pepperoni pizza and wings. Ate it in a little booth and enjoyed every bite. The pizza was definitely worth the drive.

If they had a negative star I would give them a negative five stars. Customer service was horrible, I bought a coupon that they were selling for $ 20 and it gave you an option of the first two pizzas were free and when I went in to redeem them I was told a different story. I was told I have to purchase one to get a free one. I tried requesting my money back and was denied. I would not recommend this place to anyone at all. If anyone ever tries to solve coupons to this place for $ 20 and tells you they’re good throughout the year and tell him to leave your property!!!

Love the taste, customer service, and convenience! I’ve been going here for the last year and every time is like the first time, when taking a bite. Couldn’t have asked for a better pizza spot right next door to us.

Terrible customer service !!! Called for first time to order wings and apparently their drivers don’t have any type of GPS service and guy who answered doesn’t need to treat his customers w customer service. Not only will I never order from them but I will tell everyone I know to order some where else. Pizzas aren’t hard to make

Easily one of the best pizzerias in town, Barros has garnered a loyal following by making no-frills just excellent Sicilian thick crust pizzas for 46 years. The owner, George ‘I am the King of Pizza’ Tibbetts has followed the Barro’s family recipe for pizzas, sandwiches and great Sicilian cuisine since 1980 when he took over the business. Barro’s Pizza prides itself in using only quality and the freshest of ingredients to prepare all its food. Pizzas are made with 100% mozzarella cheese and the dough is made fresh daily. The meatballs come from a famous deli in Chicago. You will see and taste the quality. The meat toppings are moist and prefectly seasoned, not oily and overly salted to perserve its flavor. The sauce has the taste of fresh tomatoes, not out of a can. The cheese is chewy and the crust is airy light and flavorful. There is nothing remotely unique about the pizzas nor will the taste be mind-blowing by any means. They are just pizzas done right, the old-fashion way prepared with quality ingredients and care. Service is great, especially when the owner is present. George is very warm and friendly, and makes good hospitality a top priority. He loves to talk about the history of this pizza parlor and the preparation that goes into making the pizzas, chicken wings and sandwiches. The rest of the staff is nearly as adept at talking about their menu items and love to offer suggestions on what to order. Food is prepared quickly, their ordering system is very efficient, the tables are cleaned frequently and as soon as guests leave, and servers are generally attentive for the dine-in guests. In addition to their pizzas, George suggests I try their popular wings and roast beef sandwich next time. Note: take advantage of the $ 13.99 for a giant 16″ one-item pizza Unilocal check-in offer. Many years ago, the Barros family sold the rights to their business name to couple of other pizza parlors. This is the original and now only location that still prepares the pizzas and sandwiches using the old family recipes.

If you’re looking Great tasting reasonably priced pizza this is a place for you. They have ice cold beer and bottled soda to go with your pizza. I hear their salads are amazing but I have never had one. Their ranch dressing is absolutely to die for. There is a charge for ranch dressing and jalapenos however the charge is only $.50. If you’re going to complain about the 50 Cent charge maybe you should not be going out to eat in the first place. The customer service is unbelievable and your pizza is usually ready within 20 minutes of placing your order. Yes there has been a two hour wait but that’s usually on a very busy night and of course during the weekend. Their chicken wings are very tasty. Not dried up very moist and succulent. The owner George will always show you your pizza before you leave the restaurant to ensure you got the pizza you ordered. And also he will also leave you with his famous quote of «Yum Yum»

I wish I could give this place a great review. It’s down the street from my house and has great pizza but the customer service here is horrible. It’s bad enough that they charge you for every little side but the owner of this place needs a serious reality check. I checked its closing time on Unilocal and found out it was 10pm. I arrived at 830 and the owner told me that I only had 45 mins to order my pizza and eat. He said«at 915 I kick everyone out». I told him I checked online and it says 10. He said well yea but I haven’t changed the website. Seriously first what pizza place closes at 915 on a Saturday night? If you want great food and horrible service this is your place

Found this spot on the fly as we were driving back home, it’s definitely worth taking a chance on! The service(from the general staff) was so-so but the owner George makes you feel so welcome and at home that you don’t mind one little bit. The inside is a bit dated and probably not the best to stay and chill. The pizza is great! George really loves his pie and he goes through great lengths to make sure you’re getting a good pie and that’ll you’ll come back for more! The wings are so-so not amazing but that could be because I am used to saucy wings and these are a dry wing. The meatball sub is overall OK, but the meatballs themselves are awesome!

Grew up eating Barros on Los Coyotes in Long Beach it was our favorite. Was glad to visit this piece of California pizza history. My boy wanted thick crust so I thought of Barros. He was happy

I recently moved to the area and was referred to Barro’s Pizza. I decided to try it tonight and am so glad that I did! As soon as I walked into the establishment, I instantly fell in love with it. The owner is extremely friendly and upbeat. He treats his customers like they are family. If someone wanted a certain game on TV, he made sure to put it on. If someone wanted another beer, he made sure to take it to their table instead of making them get up. Although I didn’t dine in or eat at the salad bar, I was impressed it was covered so you don’t have to worry about dirt or germs floating all over food that is just sitting out. You can watch the guys in back make your pizza and everyone that worked there seemed to truly enjoy being there. I ordered my pizza to go and it was piping hot when it came out of the over. Even by time I got home with it, it was still as warm as if I were eating the pizza there. The toppings are fresh and the mozzarella cheese was awesome. And the crust on the pizza was so soft and fluffy. I have definitely found my new pizza place!

«Pizza makes me think that anything is possible.» –Henry Rollins I’m inclined to agree with Mr. Rollins. Whomever thought of putting different foods and sauces on top of a crust made out of dough was definitely an out-of-the-box thinker! Pure genius I say. Pizza is definitely in my top ten of foods that I enjoy, in terms of the sheer pleasure I get from eating a great piece of pie. And that’s saying a lot because I’ve eaten just about every cuisine there is out there, even fried crickets… …but I digress… Barros gets a 5 star rating not because they have a the best service(it’s hit or miss here depending on whether George, the owner, is there or not), but because they have one of the best tasting pizzas I’ve ever had. For me, this place is more of a 4.5 star place, but I’ve got to round up because rounding down just doesn’t seem fair. One thing Ive learned about pizza is that’s it’s very much like fine wine. People have different palettes and tastes. And some people simply have no taste(I’m aghast at any rating below 3 stars. I can understand 3 stars, maybe, but 2? No way, no how). For me and my palette, Barro’s makes an awesome pie. You can taste the dough that they make themselves. You can taste the«fresh» ingredients that would make that Papa John’s dude green with envy. And the quality sauce that they use, the real cheese, yadda, yadda, yadda. Every single person I’ve brought here, bar none, have said the pizza here is extremely good, with many of them turning into repeat customers. Here’s how much I like Barro’s pizza: where I live I’m surrounded by pizza places. Some really good ones too, but none of them have the unique flavor and taste that Barro’s has. Which is why about 2 to 4 times per year, I’ll drive 20 minutes out of my way just to come here, sit down, order a large pizza and down it with a beer. Yep, they’ve got their beer license, so you can enjoy your pizza the right way! Here’s a tip for you: Barro’s usually has a coupon you can use from the Pennysaver. Or you can go here and get one: Just bear in mind that you cannot get the discount without the coupon(he’s really strict about it, even has a sign up on the counter that states this). This is one of those hidden gems that every Unilocaler should at least try once, that is, if you like pizza as much as I do.

Friendly environment. Owner was very cool. Salad bar was very tasty and loaded with some fresh veggies. Pizza crust was very tasty. The crust was probably my favorite part of the experience. Would recommend and I’d go back in a second.

I have heard a lot of good things about this place and I decided to go way out of my way to give it a try. It is descent pizza, but as the two star rating suggests, «Meh. I’ve experienced better.» The much better are two pizza places in Orange County… Angelo and Vinci’s(in Fullerton) and Giovanni’s Pizza(also in Fullerton). Try those places and then try Barro’s Pizza and you will know that they are better than Barro’s!
