Gigi is very sweet and she gives you what you want. Very good price. My hair is really thick and straight and she gave me a nice long layered hairstyle with a V cut in the back. Support your local hair salons and give her a shot of you haven’t already!

I came in 15 minutes before closing and Gigi didn’t rush me or make me feel like a burden. $ 18 for a trim with some added style. I needed a place that wasn’t going to charge me an arm and a leg and still do a good job. My dad has been coming here for years but I never paid attention when he told me to try this place. I’m glad I finally did. My new haircut place (pun intended). Salon cut without the ridiculous price.

The lady here is friendly and adept at cutting hair. Her place is clean and there is always parking. Plus she is very reasonable with her prices. Hard working and friendly with good prices, this one small business that deserves more business. Please try it out and know that your dollars are well spent here.

I was very pleased. I got a hair cut and a blow dry for $ 25, normally $ 30. She’s great, and the price cannot be beat. Excellent for those of us on a tight budget.

You can get a good haircut for a good price. I’ve gotten too many haircuts at other places that are bad and I was charged $ 35+ and tip. Here you’ll get a great haircut and without the added charge of more fancy haircut places that do a worse job.

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Gigi for the longest time. I became a regular when she was working at Supercuts in Whittier. I’ve tried many others, but she cuts my hair just the way I like it. Even when I moved to Alhambra, I always made the trek back to Whittier on the weekends to get my hair cut each month. Gigi has great prices and is always friendly to her customers. The location is easily missed driving by, but it is well worth checking out. I will be getting my hair cut here as long as she stays in business.

Gigi does a great job of cutting hair. It is better than many of the expensive haircuts I received. The haircut is $ 15 and she will wash your hair for $ 3 more.

Gigi has been cutting and dyeing my hair since she started at this place. My daughters go to her for their hair cuts too. She is highly skilled at her profession and she has such a warm and friendly attitude towards her customers. She charges lower than the surrounding beauty salons in the area but her services are always top-​notch. It is easy to miss the location of her beauty shop because it is on the inner part of a small and sparsely populated plaza at the corner of First Ave. and Leffingwell. She is right next the dry cleaning place. I recommend her highly. If you are looking for good hair service, this is definitely the place to go.

If Unilocal!offered half stars, then this place would be 3.5 stars. You definitely get what you pay for– $ 15 for any length hair cut, but that’s it– just a hair cut. She doesn’t wash your hair beforehand nor styles it after cutting. She’s a sweet lady, which is why I added the half star, but from now on I’m going to pay the $ 40+ dollars for a haircut I will actually love.

This is now the best haircut place in Whittier. Gigi just took over the business for 6 months. I discovered her 5 years ago stumble upon SuperCuts when visiting my in-​laws in Whittier. We went down south quite often to visit my in-​laws and I always take the opportunity get my hair cuts while I was there. She has been my stylist for 5 years at Supercut and now at HairCut Place in Whittier. Very talented. I have my haircuts, and highlights by her. Her price is inexpensive. But, don’t let her price fools you. She is the best. There is another hair salon in the same shopping center. Make sure it is the one right next to the Dry Cleaning. The mall looks deserted, but she is the hidden gem. Ask for Gigi. She is my hair stylist for life even if I have to travel 300 miles :)
