RBS is my favorite local bar and I’ve been coming here for 10 years. The beer is excellent and there are always seasonal and special batch releases to try. My favorites are the IPA, Something Red, and the Blueberry Ale(summer seasonal). I like their new cans, too, so I can take beer home.(I do wish they were priced at $ 5 rather than $ 7.) The food has been up and down over the years; however, in the past year or two they have really stepped up their game and the food has been consistently delicious for some time. My favorite menu item is the beer battered chicken tenders(ask for buffalo dip on the side so you can dip them yourself and keep the beer batter crispy). I also like the Bay Salad in the summer time because it has so many different types of protein. Finally, the service is always great and I have grown to know many of the bartenders. I highly recommend this great local bar for casual drinks and bar fare.

Have been coming to this place for almost 20 years about once a month. The Red Hot Burger is one of my favorite burgers in town. The blueberry ale in the summer is off the hook!!! The patio is our favorite. It has the coverage from sun, pretty terrace appeal and yet you can watch all of the shoppers or the common area entertainment.

This place was just okay. A friend and I came here to try it out one night. Sat in the outdoor section. The waitress was nice. Although she only checked on us twice… Overall, I probably wouldn’t come here again honestly. I came here based off the reviews and was less than impressed. Not my cup of tea.

Went here on a Saturday night with a group of friends. The only upside was that for a group of 7, we got seated within about 30 minutes. While our waitress was nice, the drinks took about 10 – 15 minutes to come out, the appetizers took another 30 minutes on top of that. Finally after having been there for a little over an hour, we got our food. Don’t get me wrong, all the appetizers and food were good, but didn’t warrant the amount of time it took to get everything out to us. So all in all, when we finished, took about 30 minutes just to flag down our waitress to get the bill. While we understand the busy atmosphere of a Saturday night, it’s the businesses’ job to make sure they are adequately staffed to meet the needs of their expected clientel. Didn’t seem like they were adequately staffed at all, since the service was quite slow. Not a very pleasant experience, won’t be going back anytime soon.

If you are looking for good beer, great specials and awesome food, this is the place to be in White Marsh. Their daily specials are great– especially dollar beer night on Tuesdays.

Overall we had a decent experience dining here for dinner. Their garlic parmesan wings were half price and were huge, however not too much sauce. I ordered a cobb salad and it was also gigantic and fresh. The kids also enjoyed the mac and cheese. We had the nachos for an appetizer — I could tell the chicken was probably frozen beforehand and the nacho chips seemed like they came out of a bag. I would stop by again if in the area and try again. Friendly service too. If you want to watch sports on tv, you need to head to the bar area — they do have tables.

I had the Jerk Chicken Tenders which were covered in our signature jerk seasoning, served with pineapple salsa and honey mustard. I also ordered the Crabby Tots which were crispy and topped w/their signature crab dip, bacon & melted cheddar jack cheese. They were both pretty good and even more delicious as leftovers. Jerk chicken was seasoned well and spicy, just the way I like it! Crabby tots had chunks of crab meat and super cheesy. I’d def order again

I’m amazed that this place still exists. Out of social convenience/obligation, I’ve visited RBS many times over the years. I’ve never had a good experience or meal there. The«craft» beers are awful and always taste as if the taps aren’t clean. The food is overpriced and mediocre. I’ll probably be back at some point, but I really hope not.

I’ve been here twice and will not be back again. Food is horrible. The service is just alright. A bunch of young kids who’d rather be on their smartphone than wait on their tables. The two dishes that stood out the most during my visit are the Buffalo Chicken Salad and Maryland Pasta. The salad(which we asked for first, but came with the meal) was just lettuce tossed carelessly into a bowl, a tomato, and buffalo chicken. You can usually tell a sloppy kitchen by their presentation and the plate had drops of hot sauce on the side. The pasta dishes have to have a full stick of butter in them you can see the grease/fat! The crab in the Maryland Pasta must have been bad because we BOTH got sick the day after. Food is way overpriced for the quality and preperation. There are so many better choices on the Avenue. Avoid this place like the plague!

First things first, the beer is not great. Stick to the IPA. Avoid others. They have decent happy hours. Low prices and good location keep them in business. Normal restaurant food is good ate lunch here a few times and usually have no problems(except for the old bay wings last night. I think the old bay spilt into the mixing bowl). Staff is good, lots of space, and a patio.

Haven’t been here since 12⁄2013; however, a group of us decided to hit this spot after a movie this past saturday night. We were seated outside, supposedly not enough room for 7 of us inside. It was… chilly outside. And there were no lights, at all! We were sitting in pitch black darkness the entire time. And supposedly their ceiling fan’s light does not work. Really? 3⁄7 of us were not hungry for food at 10PM. We just wanted drinks, and we noticed the server was not happy about that. She was rude. I really should post her name, but I won’t, for now. The 4 folks who ordered a cup of chill each said it was cold, not even warm. It was a miserable experience. I knew that was the reason why I haven’t visited this place for almost 2 years. It proves me correct. I will never give this place my business ever again.

Let me tell you why today was so excellent: We live in Virginia; the in-laws in Jersey. So White Marsh is our typical meeting spot when we need to trade off the grandkids. Today we had our dog in tow, so sitting outside was a necessity. Unfortunately, today was also a tornado-warning torrential rainstorm. So when we walked in and asked to sit on the patio, the hostess just blinked at us. But once we’d established that we were actually serious about sitting on the covered patio, the staff kicked into gear, drying off a table and locating some sweet, brave waitress willing to brave the patio’s deluge, navigate around our 140 pound wet dog, and manage my demanding in-laws. Chelsea, our waitress, attended our every need despite the inconvenience. She smiled through my mother-in-law’s demands and my father-in-law’s bad jokes, all while leaping over my horse-sized pooch. And our food was really good. My veggie burger was topped with sauteed mushrooms and cloves of garlic, and the others couldn’t stop snatching my tater tots. My husband’s pulled pork sandwich was a bit of a misnomer, since it was too stuffed to be picked up, but the tastiness made up for its unwieldiness.

This establishment deserves much more credit, than us Unilocalers have given it. It’s a stand alone family busines, located smack dab in the center of a bunch of chain restuarants. Those of which have been given higher star ratings… that just doesn’t seem right? The food here is surprisingly reasonably priced, offering a wide range of differing entrees: sandwiches, seafood and non-seafood entrees, appetizers, large selection of entrée salads, dessert, and of course, their own home micro-brewed beers. Tuesday Night is usually slammed because they offer their home-brewed beers for $ 1 during happy hour… which you just can’t beat! The service has always been friendly, the food delicious, the beers on point, and the wait(if applicable), well worth every minute of standing around.

Was looking for a place to eat on our way home from BWI and since we love Brew Pubs this place jumped out to us. Food was just ok, nothing special. Beer was good but again nothing special. The restaurant was not even half full when we arrived but we were told it would be a 10 minute wait. Atmosphere could have been a lot better it felt like a chain restaurant from the 90’s not like a brew pub.

I had a lunch meeting here on a Saturday, which concerned me a little because I am very mall/strip mall averse on the weekends. I am SO glad that the directions said it was across from Sears because I don’t know if I would have ever found it. I just kept an eye out for Sears and I eventually found my way. Food is TGIF/Chilis and beer; it was a decent spot for my 4-person meeting and we got just enough attention from the server. It was still fairly busy when we left. I want to say I spent $ 25 on 2 beers, 1 salad, and a side of fries for myself, which is pretty high in my book, but it is pretty typical these days.

Meh. Our waitress and the other staff were super friendly and helpful. Our food was not great however and I came to eat, not chat. There was plenty of space when we arrived on the first nice day we’ve had all winter and grabbed a seat at the bar tops. We were adjacent to the outdoor patio which looks super nice in the summertime. There were plenty of TVs and I assume that this place would be a lot of fun during game time. They brew a few beers themselves, plus they have a full drink menu. My other half ordered the Red beer and I sipped some, it was full of flavor and I would like to come back when i can fully appreciate drinking again and I’ll order a flight, for sure. If there is a next time, I won’t, however, order any food. The kitchen seemed to take a little longer than what was expected for typical pub-food, but the sun was shining and we were warm so it didn’t seem to matter too much. My veggie burger was not a veggie burger at all. It was a rice pattie. There is a difference, fine, just don’t say«veggie burger» on the menu. It cam with hard fries and a tomato that was so mealy looking I couldn’t stand to have it anywhere near me. The bun and avocado was also good, though there was an uncharge for the avocado, because they were«out of season» our waitress told us. She also said that the broccoli was out of season and that would be an additional charge on my wife’s salad. Side note, it’s really annoying getting charged for all the veggie extras when I just spent a bunch of money on a something that isn’t even meat! My meal probably cost you $ 2.00 and I was charged 10x that! Okay, Rant over. My wife’s salad had some good veggies on top(all for a charge) but the lettuce was iceberg! GAGME. And not in the good, 50 Shades of Gray-way.

I came to this place about 2 – 3 weeks ago and the food was great. I had their sweet and spicy wings, crab dip(a little salty), and shrimp pot stickers. All of thst made me want to come back and try the rest of the menu items. Well… Today and every Monday they have ½ off burgers. So my husband and I decided to order some burgers while we are waiting for our movie screening of Jersey Boys to begin. I had the mushroom and swiss and he had a traditional burger. We came at a time when it wasn’t busy so our food didn’t take long to cook. The GOOD: The burgers were big, juicy and amazing, especially for $ 5– which included fries. The homemade fries were great as well. The drinks were good… I had the Mango Crush but it was too much ice but good. The BAD: for the bar area only had 5 folks sitting there and the service was entirely toooooo long. It took too long to get recognized by a waitress and even longer for her to come back and take our order. The waitress was friendly but not attentive. Overall we will definitely come back again. We just hope we get faster service and an attentive waitress!
