First impression: Chris is so easy to talk to during the initial consultation about how I wanted my hair and what his recommendations are (+1 star). I got exactly the length and layering on the front that I wanted (just below the shoulders), totally deserve 2 more star (+2 star)!
Even though the salon was a bit difficult to find (–1 star), Melissa was a great help on the phone (+1 star). She even came out to the sweltering heat to wait for me and to make sure that I found the salon! (+1 star)
I made a same-​day appointment for 3:55PM online via the website (totally user-​friendly booking the appointment, +1 star), but did not get my haircut until 4:30PM (–1 star). Good thing my next engagement isn’t until 6PM! *Whew!*
All in all, I would come back to Chris to do another trim/​haircut and specify that I want double-​layering, because I know that my hair will just weight my head down once it grows longer again.

I was dying for a facial and stumbled on this place the other day. I got lucky and they were able to fit me in pretty quickly. Melissa was wonderful! The facial was very relaxing and my skin was glowing afterward. She’s super sweet and professional. Didn’t try to upsell me a bunch of products. I may have to start coming here more often!

My head was getting shaggy and too hot with the warmer temps. I saw the reviews here on Unilocal; while they were all for womens’ hair cuts, I had also moved here from Boston and decided to give Chris a try. I left completely satisfied, and with a haircut that looks professional for work but also ready for the bar at the end of the day. While in the chair, Chris also told me he had won Best Men’s Haircut in Boston 5 yrs running. Based on what I see in the mirror, I believe it.

A friend of mine told me that she found a fab new stylist and I absolutely loved her unique cut and color so I traveled all the way from LA to check Chris out. My hair was medium-​length and needed a boost. He gave me an awesome new short ‘do with very creative color. I feel like a new woman! Tons of compliments, but credit is due to Chris and his immense talent. He’s got a great vibe going and I will definitely be back! Also he’s a Boston native as am I. Boston Strong!

I’m so happy I found this place! Adorable salon and got the best cut ever! I normally hate how people cut my hair the first time. I’ll definitely go back.

I just moved to the Huntington Beach area a few months ago and while I’ve had a few haircuts by other stylists in the area, I hadn’t found a place that I would return to… Until now! I just had my first haircut by Chris! He made me feel very comfortable and at ease! His studio is located inside the Phenix salon suite between target and pavilions. The parking is crazy easy and abundant. I will definitely recommend him to friends.
