It was my first time here and JULIE is my hairdresser at 4me salon. She’s is SUPER COOL & SUPER SWEET. I love her sense of style. She did an amazing job with my hair. I recommend you going to her if you need color correction, she made my hair (ugly orange) turn into a beautiful ombré. Thank you so much! Went back again for another visit. Had just flow in from a long-​haul flight and had limited time options. Julie wasn’t working but she made a special trip in to cut my hair which I really appreciated. Fantastic service.

Took my mom to Ms. Julie for the first time. She wanted to cover her grays and lighten her hair. Julie is super cool and nice. She exceeded my mom’s expectations! She can’t even believe that her hair turned out that great! So happy to be here and will definitely come back for touch ups and any other hair needs! :)

The other day I went to go see Julie because my hair stylist was out of town. After receiving my first haircut from her I quickly changed hair stylist and have been going to Julie ever since. With that said, I highly recommend Julie to everyone. She knows all of the trendy styles and has experience with many models and celebrities. She even has her own instagram showing models she worked with! I most likely won’t be changing hair stylists anytime soon!!!

Julie is the perfect hair stylist for me. She’s super easy to get along with and always gives me the perfect haircut. She takes her time, yet still is very efficient and I’m out of there in half an hour. I always make an appointment and she is ready when I’m arrive. For guys, you really will be happy with Julie. Going from black to blonde was not an easy process. Prior to committing to this life changing decision I read so many horror stories about negligent & careless stylists leaving chemicals on client’s hair too long causing burns & breakage. And if you’re lucky enough to escape with hair still on your head, it’s going to be a copper orange color.
I didn’t want any of that.
So Julie made sure that I was her only client for the rest of the day. The process took us around 6 hours. During this entire time she utilized the heat of my scalp to process my hair & did not rush me under the heat hood.
Because of Julie’s meticulous care, even after being lifted from my original raven black color to a platinum blond, my hair was still soft & manageable.
I’m coming back to see her again soon to retouch my roots.

I’ve been going to Julie Nguyen for a few years now and will continue to be a faithful client of Julie. My entire family loves her and won’t allow anyone else to cut their hair. Julie is familiar with all styles and whatever we ask her to do whether cut, style, color she knows exactly what we want. I recently came to Julie and decided I wanted a fresh color for the summer. She gave me some blonde highlights and going from dark color she was able to create it without it looking brassy or orange. And she finished it off with conditioning treatment to make sure my hair was extra smooth. I can’t say enough about Julie. I highly recommend her.

Long time Unilocal member and first time reviewer here. So why now??? Because I’ve finally realized that good businesses deserve to be shared and that my voice should be heard! It’s the Unilocal circle of life!
I was feeling shaggy around the edges and had that instant «I need a haircut NOW» feeling. I decided to kill two birds with one stone and drive to Orange County to A. Get some delicious Vietnamese Food and B. Get a haircut that would make me selfie worthy.
With some Unilocal searching I ended up meeting Julie. First thing I noticed was her hair. I thought to myself I wish I could pull off that hair! But my hair is of a different breed. And after a brief consolation, Julie went right to work. What a little firecracker this girl is! Not only is Julie quick but she’s also extremely detailed with her cutting and blending. With every movement of her hands there was purpose. And at the end I could tell her purpose was to make me believe in her art so that I can come back. I guess she’s made me a believer since I’m here sharing my experience with you.
I walked out loving the texture and styling of my hair. She showed me different ways to style it and I’m really excited to spend some time in front of my mirror. Thanks Julie! I look forward to the next time we meet!

Julie is a fantastic hair stylist! This was my first time ever dying my hair so yes, it was virgin hair! I’ve been very skeptical about dyeing it but decided why not one day. I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome. It’s just what I wanted for a fresh and unique look! I had black hair and I was afraid of it being orange like other girls’ hairs that I see, but this might be my look for the next few years! She did an amazing job with massaging my hair, blow drying, dyeing, and took a lot of time to do the highlights very precisely. Especially for someone like me who has thick and tons and tons of hair, she worked really fast (about 4 hours max). I asked that my hair be as little damaged as possible and its still smooth like it was before. I loved how she styled it afterwards and gave me tiles how to style it at home. She knows how to accommodate picky people like me. Julie knows what’s she doing and you can talk to her about anything and never feel uncomfortable! I showed her a few pics to get this look and I think it’s better than the pictures! Give her a try and you won’t be disappointed!!!
The place is very neat and organized ²⁴⁄₇ and is located on magnolia and Warner in the same plaza as Starbucks.
**UPDATE** My hair is still smooth and i have already had two touch ups :) Love the work!

I haven’t had a haircut with anyone else since I met Julie. Every now and then I get bored with my hair and go to her for inspiration. Thought I’d go short again and asked her for an asymmetric a-​line cut. Woooh! Loved the results! I came back the following week to add some color for the spring. I couldn’t really pinpoint what I wanted so I showed her some photos of ashbrown highlighting and told her I wanted something similar but a bit more lively. She suggested that I should color my hair and then highlight to give that subtle pop I wanted. Results? I’m just ecstatic!

Pointers: loved that my haircut was just layered so well and so quickly! I can only run to get a haircut after work or in the weekends and time is essence. I just love that she’s efficient and focused. She’s seriously an expert at layering.

It’s a really nice salon, very cool vibe inside. Julie is my new stylist, and she is amazing! She is very friendly, and she gets it and quickly figures out what you want for your style. Her techniques are top notch, very happy with my new cut. Price is more than reasonable. I will be back soon!
