The owner is Asian I think and she is super rude along with some employees. Sometimes when I call for questions, they dont even say hi, they answer your question and hang up. By far the worst service.

My 6 year old found a hot pepper in her sandwich. Which we definitely did not order. Good thing she did not bite it.

I LOVE Subway, but this location is slacking. There are 2 male employees who now have long hair. The last few times I have been in there, neither one has had their hair back in a ponytail, hair net, anything. One guy even put his hair behind his ears, gets some gloves, & continue on making sandwiches. I don’t care if the hands are in the gloves… WASHYOURHANDSIFYOUTOUCH A BODYPART!!! Just unsanitary. Plus you have to ask for extra sauce or veggies b/c a couple of them skimp out.

It’s Subway; what do you really expect other than a tasty sandwich, clean restaurant, friendly service and speedy service. I got all of that tonight and didn’t have to cook dinner! Bread selection was still good at 8:00 and I’m on my way home to eat my foot long turkey!

The person making my sandwich was new. Had to ask him to double up on veggies cause he was skimping! Lol but it was understandable since he’s new. I’d come back if I was craving subway again, which might be once in a great long time. Clean inside! Do the survey on your receipt for a free cookie!

Trainer was more concerned with flirting with the trainee than helping the customers; long line, two sandwiches in the works and people walking out of line because they’ve been waiting for more than 10 minutes. There is clearly something wrong with this picture. Also, it’s 7:30pm and the ONLY bread they had was flatbread. How does that even happen? Worst Subway experience I’ve ever had.

I went in with my daughter this evening for sandwiches. After we ordered an Asian lady started yelling at an employee so loudly that people were starting to turn around. I asked the person at the register if that was the manager and was told no it was the owner. I felt so bad for that poor kid. How humiliating. She knew prople were looking and she didn’t care. The kid told me the owner has quite the reputation for treating her employees that way. We won’t be back to that Subway. I’ll give my money to a different subway.

The worst Subway I’ve ever been at. Everytime I’ve been in there they have no bread for sandwiches. A Subway store that can’t manage it’s bread! Will not be going back!

Staff is incredibly rude and snappy. No wonder this place has such bad reviews. They won’t be getting my business.

hum, I don’t understand why this location as such a low Unilocal rating. Every time I come here the bread and produce is fresh, place is clean and maintained, and employees are friendly and quick to assist you. subway sandwiches are great for a fast, healthy alternative to fast food. this is a great location next to jamba juice and starbucks. September is SUBtember month where all footlongs are 5 $. Winner winner!

Excellent service. Always order customized food. Hate their soups, but love the subs. Service is great especially if you ask for Yelena. She is always nice and makes hearty subs. I agree with the other reviewer about being surprised having all those negative reviews? This is in my top 3 subway shops of all time. Meatball parmigiana with provolone and parmigiana cheese /w tomatoes and onions — ISTHEBEST!!!

I came here to get some food for my family and there were 2 women working at the time. One woman was changing the signs and standing on the counter where they toast the sandwiches. Just seeing her dirty tennis shoes all over the counter made me sick. The other woman was making my 2 footlong sandwiches and while making them she asked if I wanted parmesan cheese and I said, «sure»… holy crap she put so much on the sandwich! It was piled on my meatball sub. I told her that’s way too much and she didn’t do anything. She worked on the other sandwich and I told her I’d like a little lettuce, she put a ton of lettuce and piled on spinach… uh I didn’t ask for spinach. She picked off the spinach and another customer comes in and asks, «Hey are you guys still serving the breakfast sandwiches?» and the woman making my sandwich says, «No, it’s already 11am.»(It was 10:51am) The customer leaves and the lady working on the signs tells her coworker, «We do serve breakfast sandwiches still.» Well they just lost a customer. I got home and took a bite of one of the subs and the bread was oddly chewy. The meatballs tasted off. and the parmesan was just overpowering. It just wasn’t edible. This sucks because I usually like subway and this one is close to home.(just moved to the area)

Honestly, im kinda surprised to see all these negative reviews. I have a high standard of what i expect out of Subway because i worked for 3 locations over a 4 year period. I stopped going to Subway after working there because everytime I would go in i was unsatisfied and beyond dissappointed. But yesterday i had a craving that needed to be filled. I went to this location because it was close to work. The employees look kinda miserable lol but the red head who made my sandwich did a great job! like i said ive worked at subway before so im verrrrry PICKY/Particular when it comes to my sandwich i order a BMT w/turkey instead of ham, toasted, 1 line of spicy mustard, mayo on both sides, light lettuce, 3 tomatoes, bell peper, r. onion, 4 jalapenos, extra salt and peper & oil. lol the girl making my sandwich didnt seem annoyed lol. & when i got my sandwich it was delicious! not sloppaly made and falling apart(like ive expereinced in the past). :) i was happy & will return to this location

Why didn’t I read Unilocal reviews before I came here? I know. Because it’s Subway, and all Subways should be about the same… but this one is sub-par. Save yourself the headache. The customer service was bad. I could hardly understand them.(Did they have mush in their mouths or what??) Plus, when I went to pay by debit/credit, it took literally 5 minutes for them to restart their computer because, «It always does this.»(At least, I think that’s what they said. Again, not the most articulate staff.) The food was on on par with other Subways though, as in expectedly mediocre — not bad for $ 5.

All I need to say is look at the picture of the sandwich you wanted and then look at the sandwich they make you — HUGE difference. Nuf said…

This is the worst Subway I have ever been to. I went in one time and had a sandwich made by the manager/owner. Firstly, he was extremely rude and had zero customer service skills. I eat Subway regularly enough to know the order that they put ingredients on the sandwich: bread-cheese-toasted?-vegetables-condiments(there are even stickers on the sneeze guard saying«step 1, step 2» etc.) Well, after the cheese we were at the vegetable stage in which I always say«everything, but no jalapenos, onions, or banana peppers.» The guy reaches for the mustard and mayonnaise and squirts it all over the sandwich. I stopped him and told him I never asked for any of that and he rudely tells me that I said«everything» and that is why he put that condiments on. I patiently explained that I have never had that happen before and that every other Subway experience I had, vegetables went first and then I was asked for condiments. He tells me vegetables are always last and I even pointed at the«steps» that were listed right in front of me. He tells me those are wrong. I tell him I do not want the condiments, and he says there is nothing he can do because he already put it on the sandwich. I told him I am not going to eat the sandwich then. He begins to scrape the mayo and mustard off with his fingers. I of course tell him that is unacceptable. He picks the sandwich up and slams it into the trash can behind him then messily slaps another sandwich together, and sarcastically asked me each ingredient individually and also asking«are you sure?» after each ingredient. Anyways, I was glad to get out of there and promised myself never to go to this location again. This is not all. My wife a couple weeks later goes to this location(I didn’t know she went because I would have told her to go to a different store) and she tries to get a $ 5 footlong because of the promo they had going on in Feb. She says they were out of turkey so the lady asked if it was okay to do double ham to substitute no turkey. My wife says sure that’s fine. Well, she gets to the end to pay and the lady rings the sandwich up as $ 7. My wife asks why it is not $ 5 and the lady responds because she asked for double meat. My wife explains that she was going to do the double ham to substitute not having turkey and the lady responds«no, you told me you wanted double meat.» My wife explains that she thought she was getting more ham because there was no turkey. The lady goes and gets the same manager/owner person and he rudely tells my wife that since she ordered double meat she has to pay for it.(If I was there I would have just left, but my wife is too nice and gave in and paid and left) Anyways, two bad experiences in a row. I usually don’t write negative reviews, but I had to after what happened. Just ridiculous. I recommend going to another Subway if possible.

Subway sandwiches just aren’t fulfilling. I’m not talking about the kind of contentment you get when you stuff yourself full like a Thanksgiving turkey, I’m talking about that happy contentment when you had a simple, but pleasing meal. The $ 5 foot long promotion is a decent deal. You get a good portioned sandwich with your choice of toppings, but the quality is just not there. I’ve been here a couple times since it’s walking distance from my work, and sometimes you just don’t have time to go the distance to get some good food. The produce is decent, but never have that crisp freshness you crave on your sandwich. The meats are your typical processed kind that have the same quality as a hot dog, and the bread is like proliferated cardboard with a little extra flavor. You get it toasted not because you really enjoy the toasted touch, but because it hides the natural flavor of it… This store has a clean lobby for the most part, but the temperature is usually odd. Sometimes it’s too warm, or it almost feels muggy. The staff is just OK, and the overall value you get once you order your drink and a side is moderately high consider the quality of the food. Panera, David Berkeley’s, or Mr. Pickles is definitely a better option if it’s available. Sandwiches are supposed to be the next best invention since sliced bread! You get your meat, your vegetables, your bread all in a conveniently packed package! How could you give it injustice by making it a Subway sandwich???

I HATE this Subway. There are FIVE Subways in West Sac, do not go to this one. The employees here are rude rude rude. I ask for extra oil and vinegar, after he puts a tiny amount on(I mean, as we all know, that shit is expensive, right? Oh, wait, no its not). He then stares at me why he shakes it everywhere, including on my sandwich and all around the counter and bread oven behind him. I mean, this was a Roman Polanski vs. a 10 year old girl stare. It was creepy. I figure that must be an abberation, I will give it another try. So my wife decides she wants a Subway sandwich, and like most women she has to change 50 million things about it, and if I mess it up then I clearly hate her, our children, and our marriage. Why do women do that shit? Anyways, she calls in our order. I get there, no sandwich. The guy didnt even make it until I got there. Um, WTF? Ok, so maybe I wouldnt show. Just tell me that, say very politely«I’m sorry, we do not take phone orders. But I will write down your order and be happy to make it as soon as your husband gets here, and I will put him in the front of the line». Nope, not this Subway. The employees are too busy reading their probation officers emails than providing actual customer service. Poor poor poor.
