Starbucks

I’m a regular here. I visit twice a day Monday-​Friday. I have nothing but great experiences here. Even when they are busy, the staff is very friendly and polite. They even put up with me telling them how to spell my name. Generally pretty clean and great atmosphere. This is my goto Starbucks.

Thank you! I was in a rush this morning and the store was packed due to a local tournament nearby. I didn’t taste my drink until after leaving. The drink was made wrong simply because of hard-​to-​read writing on the cup. Totally understandable, however still disappointing. I didn’t drink it or eat the breakfast that I purchased with it due to my palate not being okay with the drink. I returned after work with both items and the team here replaced my order without hassle. They were quick to make things right and I appreciated not having to defend my disappointment. Thank you for taking care of me!

Recent developments compel me add a friendly note of the ⁴⁄₅ star variety. While my experience is overall pleasant, the existing manager has gone on hiatus. Exit normal manager, enter West Sacramento’s transient population. That’s right, the store now has 3 or 4 resident drifters who don’t buy anything, but hang out most of the day on the internet, or sleep on the cushy bench near the rear of the store.
One weekly visitor brings his sleeping bag in and naps. Another odoriferous daily visitor «showers» in the men’s room, then spends the rest of the day watching Youtube videos on his cell phone (no headphones, sound audible). Now, I appreciate how fellow customers and employees are sensitive to the plight of poverty, yet society has created a special place for the transient community…
That place is inside a Pete’s Coffee.

This location was crazy busy for Mothers day. My niece, and my two girls came here to order drinks and sandwiches around noon time. The line was to the door but kept flowing. We ordered a total of 4 drinks and two sandwiches and there were about 4 people ahead of us, we got our drinks and food within 5 mins, if that. I am impressed at how fast these guys make their drinks. They were definitely on top of it this Mothers day. 5 stars, taste was great and service was like speedy Gonzales!

The employees at this Starbucks are EXTREMELY rude! They always mess up my order and deal with the situation unprofessionally by arguing with me when THEY messed up. They are unorganized as well as the manager. Everytime I tried to ask for a manager for a job, the employees would lie saying the manager isn’t there or they’re not hiring. The phone number is even wrong. It’s hard to contact a manager at this loctation which I find to be unprofessional. This place needs new employees who will welcome you and smile. If they’re miserable they need to quit and open a position for enthusiastic people. It’s a coffee shop for Gods sake!

Been coming here for the last few years, they are very friendly, quite a few times they remember your drink which is pretty amazing with all the people they serve. Really glad they added a clover machine it’s the best if you drink black coffee! Just a great location overall.

After three more visits I’ve come to the conclusion that this Starbucks is definitely my least favorite one in the area.
Food is still just alright — nothing special. Same with the drinks.
But a few nights ago the employees were so talkative and loud, I could hear them even with headphones on. Then it happened again last night.
I usually go to Starbucks for a nice calming cup of coffee or to study. It’s definitely been a little frustrating to come to this one and just get ignored by the baristas because they’re talking amongst themselves or they’re «busy.» I would be fine with the noise if it was kept at a minimum but they’re just loud — I can hear them over the music and over my earphones too.
Will probably be back because of location — but if you’re here to study for awhile this place might not be the best.

My wife and I go to this Starbucks literally every day. It is hard to maintain consistency day today, and as a customer we really notice when things are great or when they’re not. Overall, this Starbucks maintains an extraordinary level of consistency and quality and provides amazing customer service.
Just today I ordered a Venti iced drink, got to the car and dumped it! I went back inside prepared to buy another and they gave me the new drink to me for free. How great is that, good customer service really is alive and well. Thanks Starbucks!

Super friendly staff. Lines are never long and the store is always clean. The location is small and cozy.

This is my daily go to Starbucks location but I do go to others while I am out and about or traveling. When I do I gain more appreciation for what a great job the team in Southport does. They work hard to get to know their customers and make drinks exactly the way you want them. If you are in the area picking between the 3 West Sac locations this is the one to visit.

My experiences here have been OK. Staff here aren’t always so friendly. Sometimes the girl making my drink looks irritated, and she doesn’t seem like she has any good customer skills what so ever. Forgot her name but next time I’m there and she’s working, I’ll be updating my review.
Other than that, I love the new look inside!

A ton of parking, service is quick, restroom is very clean and wifi actually works. This is a pretty small Starbucks with more outside seating than inside. Really friendly atmosphere though.

Rude staff. I go here 3x a week and earlier today I went to get a gift card and coffee, I was talking to the cashier guy and handed him my card to pay and after he charged me I said I forgot I need a gift card too and he said I needed to wait in line again! I did wait in line again and itll be the last time I wait in line at that Starbucks location.

Been coming here for years ! They always get my order right. It’s always clean and they are very prompt.

I frequent this location multiple times a week, I’d say about 3 – 4 times on average. I’m usually rushing to work or school and stop in for a delicious coffee and sometimes breakfast.
Drinks are great, service is mostly pleasant, breakfast food buyers beware.
The first incident happened three weeks ago, I purchased the bacon Gouda egg sandwich, sounds heavenly yes? Took 3 bites and what the? No bacon?! I had to drive back to get a new one made right, there was a small apology made and I was on my way in less than 5 mins with a new correct sandwich. Running late for work there was no time to voice what little frustration I had, plus I know these things sometimes happen, it was not done purposely so I left with my bacon sammie.
Fast forward, 3 weeks, today I purchased the turkey bacon, egg white sandwich. This time, as I unwrapped it ready to eat it as fast as could before running into my summer class, I get ready to take a bite and GROSS! A huge hair!!! I then, proceed to open the sandwich and find a second hair! Disgusted and disappointed with no time to go back I walk into my 3.5 hours class hungry.
Upon my return later that afternoon the associate takes my sandwich and listens as I explain. I mention that this is not the first time I’ve had issues with breakfast food, and considering the inconsistencies, and inconveniences, I am very dissatisfied with them. He hears what I’m saying and offers to grab a manager, he comes back, without a manager, refunds my money and offers a half ass apology. Just an «I’m sorry, your money will be returned to your card shortly, please sign here.» And that’s it.
I have worked in customer service and around food for the last 7 years, if this happened I would have been a lot more apologetic. And taken the time as a manager to make it known that I am sorry for the issues, not once but twice that occurred with their food. But I am probably not worthy of such an apology considering the mass monster that Starbucks is, my lonely little complaint will be sure to get lost in the millions of dollars they make.
So really I’m just writing this as fair warning, their food is not consistent, and hair may be lurking between the cheese and bacon on your sandwich. And if you do find one before it makes its way into your mouth, don’t expect much of an apology.

I like this Starbucks!
My favorite barista is Kate, naturally. She’s really friendly and I feel like she goes out of her way to greet each customer and make them feel welcome. Plus, she doesn’t mind that I haven’t memorized each and every drink and size offering on the menu. She even asked if I had had my particular and admittedly weird iced tea creation before she wrote out the order (yes).
This Starbucks shares a large parking lot with the plaza, so there’s always plenty of available spots, even during the morning rush hours. I used to avoid this location because I thought it meant I’d never be able to park but it’s actually faster in my experience to just run in and grab your order instead of waiting in a drive thru line.
I can sometimes be found working on the patio with my dog. There are about eight outdoor tables and some have umbrellas.
Whatever you do — avoid Starbucks around the time school gets out. This is the local hangout for all of the local school kids and if you’re in a hurry, well, your experience may vary but it takes forever to order during that time of day!

Pretty chill place. Some friendly folks, some less than friendly.

Everytime I’ve given this place a chance because my friend swears by it all the time being the best, I always get horrible service. They are so rude to me. They don’t smile or greet and when I either ask for something to be remade because it tastes funny or because i told them the wrong order they give attitude. Management doesn’t seem to care. So dissapointed.

The best Starbucks in town! 3 reasons
1. Super friendly staff including the manager Nate. He is doing a great job running this place.
2. The baristas know how to make coffee. My drinks (3 shots of espresso and 2 pumps white mocha or grande white mocha) are always perfectly made.
3. They are fast and efficient but always happy to serve their customers.
